  1. Hi all I'm Tomek from "spowiedź chama" new grind/death project from Poland, I've recorded first demo by myself this year, and now I want to share It with you... Title of demo – "jest zajebiście"– relates to current situation in Poland – government and media try to show picture of prosperity and happiness in our country, but reality is completely different ... Topic of songs are my thoughts about life, I tried to point out mental poverty in days of creating fake picture of yourself in social medias, in world of so called "authorities" like celebrities, couches and influencers who don't have much to say but they are treated like experts. This demo is for people who's loosing themselves in this world... https://spowiedzchama.bandcamp.com/releases looking forward to your feedback Take care
  2. Hello everyone. Novichoke is a Russian black/death metal band named after chemical weapon, which has become synonymous with political assassinations. On the one hand, this name emphasizes the venomous sound of the project, on the other hand – anti-authoritarian political views. The first demo "Wounds" is inspired by cavernous death and war metal bands, but I wanted to create something particularly ugly and insane by adding a noisecore vibes. This EP is about hopelessness and trauma. I also wanted to draw attention to the problem of torture in Russia. In particular, the title track tells of the inglorious end of the executioner, who was abandoned by the government and found himself alone with his wounds. Bandcamp All links to streaming platforms and socials are on Bandlink. The cover is a painting by the extremely talented artist Luis Perez Banus – you can find him here: https://www.instagram.com/perezbanus/ The sound from the wall of noise was created by Andrea Lenoci (it wasn't easy because of the method of recording guitars): https://www.instagram.com/andrea_molrec/ I would be grateful for any feedback and happy to answer questions. If you need a code for Bandcamp, write about it in the comments or a private message. Spasibo.
  3. Band from Utrecht, The Netherlands Stoner Death Metal Let us know what you think! https://soundcloud.com/deformed-by-sodomy
  4. Summoned to DIe is looking for a drummer for an upcoming album. Main influences from the band are mostly old school death metal bands (Death, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Obituary, Morbid Angel and so on). The band is currently signed to a distribution deal (not a record deal...yet) You can find the first album on all streaming platforms. Rest assured, the next album will be MILES better than the previous, with better and more brutal material as the members have grown in skill in the previous years. We are looking for both part time and full time drummers, if you just want to sit in and be apart of the creation of this album, that is totally cool with us if you live in a different part of the world for example. Hoping for a response
  5. A young death metal band (Immortal Obscurity) looking for a rhythm guitarist, bass player and drummer. Need members that can play anything from slow to fast tempo death metal. The band is mainly reminiscent of old school death metal influences with some slam, melodic and occasional tech part making its way in. Located in Johnstown, New York. Preferably looking for members in the Tri-city areas (mainly Troy and Albany) from 16-19 if possible. Demos for a 6 song ep have already been written, but are up for any changes depending on your style. Thank you for reading, contact me if you're interested, I'll send you the demos and I'll make sure to stay contacted to make it work as best as possible. Hoping to meet up together whenever possible. Thank you for checking it out, have a good day.

  10. Update 07/05 New track released, check it out here : https://furorbrevis.bandcamp.com/track/aut-pati-aut-mori Hello, I'd like to share a demo from my current project It's a crossover between many influences, mostly death / black / hardcore. https://furorbrevis.bandcamp.com/album/desperatio It's kind of old school, minimalistic and I am having a hard time to put a label on the music. So if you like intricated stuff, dissonant but also melodic, please have a go. Thank you. And of course if you have an idea on how I can name the style to describe it better, shout it here !

  12. Behold, the 'industrial metal' project - Military Industrial Complex. An invocation of the brutal machinations of the war machine, exhorting it's gleeful offering of human life and endless toil. Rejoice, as the enemies of this industry are crushed beneath the weight of trillions of dollars of military research. Watch the feeble fall before the might of the empire, backed by the rituals of the damned, sacrificing the mob for the benefit of the ruling elite. Here, we have woven occult understandings and psychological truth with the grinding force which drives the war machine to create a sound to bang your head on, or to stew in understanding of it's great evil perfection. May you grant the bearer of it's glory many likes and subscribes and bow down in indentured servitude !!! militaryindustrialcomplex.ca https://www.facebook.com/militaryindustrialcomplex1

  15. Contrarian is a sometimes international progressive death metal collaboration featuring George Kollias of Nile on drums, and on "To Perceive Is To Suffer", their second full-length, he steps up to perform vocals as well. If you like mid-90s Death, there's a good chance you'll like this album. Comparisons to the early Floridian prog-death scene are obvious from the outset, but this recording is no mere hero worship; it offers a fresh and sincere take on the style, brimming with intricate yet memorable riffs, intelligent harmonies, a strong sense of melodic interplay between the bass and guitars, and a sterling drum performance. The mix is clear without feeling sterile, and the reverb and delay effects on the vocals lend them an atmospheric quality that's uncommon in modern DM. Technical chops are here in abundance, but the focus remains on concise and enjoyable songwriting. The vocals are mostly delivered in a harsh rasp; tonally, it recalls some black metal, but the vocal patterns and pronunciation show a strong influence from vintage Chuck Schuldiner. This album isn't flawless. The vocals are a bit lackluster; they fit the music well, both in tone and in placement, and they're certainly competent, but they lack a sense of emotive conviction that could make them truly shine. Kollias' high rasp on this album represents a change in direction from the guttural DM vocals of their debut, "Polemic"; I prefer the new sound, but fans of their earlier work may find it difficult to adapt. Also, as an album, it suffers a bit from being too much of a good thing. Nearly every song on here is well-paced and well-structured, but each of them hovers around the same length and tempo; they all kick ass in the same way, with the same mix of elements, and the result is that, despite the catchy and memorable nature of the riffs, no song truly stands out. The exception to this is a somewhat incongruous cover of the first half of "At Fate's Hands", by Fates Warning - a slow, clean tune delivered in a stilted but pleasant sing-song, that breaks up the riff-fest nicely but doesn't really add anything of its own. Regardless, this album is very good; I would highly recommend it to fans of old-school prog death, or any DM fan on the lookout for some exceptional melodic guitar work. Much like each individual song, it's short and to the point, clocking in at just under 35 minutes, and it's remained thoroughly engaging for me through many plays over the past several weeks. Get your ears on it: https://contrarianmetal.bandcamp.com/music
  16. Release Date: October 6, 2017 Intro: This is the band's 8th studio release. Some questions have been raised about the replacement of previous lead guitarist Ryan Knight by Brandon Ellis. Additionally, some felt their sound was getting a little too far from there roots, becoming too slow and "easy" for it's own good. The band considers this album a spiritual successor to "Nocturnal", one of their most highly praised works, and a fan favourite. They solidify the link by using the same artist for the cover, and many of the songs seem like they pick up where Nocturnal left off. Does this album stand up? Highlights: Track 1: Widowmakrer. This track opens with an awesome riff and a great scream from Trevor to really set the tone of this short but brutal album. A good riff carries through the verse and the lyrics are an interesting change from the classical fantasy storylines usually heard on death metal albums. Definitely a good strat Track 3: Matriarch. This song is a riff bonanza. From start to finish this one beats the living shit out of you. Trevor's screams match the rhythm really well, and the chorus is particularly catchy. This song also has some of the more brutal lyrics on the album, which are awesome. In my opinion this is where you really start to see Ellis shine. In addition to playing leads, he wrote 4 of the songs on this album and proved he can keep up with the guys who've been in the band for almost 20 years. Track 5: Jars. This is probably the heaviest and least melodic song on the album. It's still a brutal assault with riffs changing all the time, making good use of blast beats on the drums and heavy rhythm guitars over wailing leads. Another song with excellent lyrical content, I really think this entire album has some of the more interesting lyrics of the last few records. Track 7: Catacomb Hectacomb. This song is probably the most melodic on the album, and flows really well. The trem picking riffs throughout keep the song moving, and the constant drums make the song feel frantic. They slow things down during the bridges to give a nice duality to the song. Around the 1:30 mark there is an epic breakdown, followed by a blistering solo. Honestly Brandon Ellis makes a case for being their best guitarist, period. Track 9: The Lonely Deceased. Most reminiscent of previous album, this tune has some of the darker, more depressing overtones on the album that match the title quite well. It's a somber close to the album filled with some great, pounding riffs. A little slower, but as the end track it suits well and closes the album nicely. Final Thoughts: This is probably my favourite TBDM album to date. It definitely picks up on the speed and intensity that some feel the last two albums may have been lacking. Ellis brings creative talent as well as technical ability that makes this a great listen. For fans who had written them off this would be an excellent time to give them another shot, and for new/potential fans I would highly recommend checking this out if you want a sense of what these guys are all about. Rating: 4.5/5.

  19. Videoclip Hello there fellow metalmaniacs!!! We would like to self-promote our metalband Primitive. We had a couple up and downs the past 3 years (band members leaving, gaining new members, reconfiguring bandmember mindsets ) but with a mission to blast again, and to blast even harder, we double dare you to listen to the sound this band makes for you! We hope you all will enjoy it. Grab that coffee! A good and heavy-morning to all of you! Spotify Primitive - Cerberus (Single) Primitive - Raw Traces(Raw Demo) Primitive Bio From the ditches of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, at the ports of the feet of Hell(evoetsluis) Primitive is one of the last remnants from a decade of heavy metal bands thrashing the local area. After the closing down of all the venues they retreated in the bunkers of Hellevoetsluis working on new incantations bringing homage to all the silenced noises before them. Howls with high sustain and blood trembling speed metal rhythms will blast you away with the earth shattering grooves and energetic performance of this band. Starting out in 2007 they allready gave their crowds a brutal blast of metal. After seven years of gigging they finaly recorded their first single Nightmare. While aiming for a fulllength album their drummer decided to leave the band. But after a short period of time they gained a new drummer who blasted his way to Cerberus and Raw Traces just to the taste the band needed so much. Quotes 'Now working on their new album and revisiting the old, soon your flesh will be moved.' 'We play the stuff we like to play, we are heavy and melodical in one. Guess that is the taste Primitive brings to the gigs we play.' ‘Primitive will leave you feelin' punched in the face by metal!’ Social Media: Primitive on Bandcamp Primitive on Twitter Primitive on Instagram Primitive on Facebook
  20. Hello, guys! How's it going? My name is Nahuel Barbero. I'm the lead guitarist for a new solo project I'm starting in South Florida under the name Sentience. I am currently beginning this after my old band (Neuropath) broke up. I'm just here to say, anything you guys need, if you're in South Florida or not, I'm happy to help. I have great connections, studios, venues, anything to help you guys get on your feet as well. 21. What in your opinion are the greatest riffs of all time? Personally, I think that one riff from spirit crusher around 2:20 is probably the greatest.
  22. My band has released three singles from the upcoming debut album "Fist Fight" Check out either one and see if it sticks. Is it comparable to anything? Is the mix up to par? "Red Pools of Blood", "Different Shades of Green" & "Babalas" Share your sincere thoughts about the sound and composition. I'll check out yours and do the same Cheers
  23. The title speaks for itself, I'm looking to ghost write music if anyone is interested message me and we can get started. I've already released some songs in the 100k-500k view range on Youtube over the past few years and I'm looking to write for other people if they are interested. I can do heavy metal/thrash/death/melodic death metal/black metal/metalcore/rock you name it. I write some riffs/or a song and then you purchase them with 100% of the rights, I have no rights to the music anymore and its basically like you wrote it to begin with. Here is a sample of my stuff: Death metal: Thrash metal: Again if anyone is interested reply here or email/message me.
  24. For instance, I know a lot of people don't particularly love deathcore, but I think Aversions Crown does an awesome job of being b00tal with melody, while maintaining technical playing that's great to pay attention to. Any other albums/bands/songs you like that fall in to a genre people often don't think of positively? Exhibit A:
  25. I have some death metal cds and LP's I'm looking to sell. All are never played and brand new, some still factory sealed. Check it out at the link...thanks! https://www.discogs.com/seller/maslayer
