  1. Do you want to join a blackened death metal band? well of course you do! why else would you be reading this? Anyways, We are a blackened death metal band looking for a drummer, bassist and a lead guitarist who are fairly skilled with their instruments and are between the ages of 19 and 24. we revolve heavily around circus and demonic imagery which means we are aiming to be a very theatrical band so please keep that in mind before asking to join and yes this does mean we plan on dressing up and having stage names and that. The link to our demo is below and we look forward to whoever decides to join us and we can't wait to start making music together!
  2. A young death metal band (Immortal Obscurity) looking for a rhythm guitarist, bass player and drummer. Need members that can play anything from slow to fast tempo death metal. The band is mainly reminiscent of old school death metal influences with some slam, melodic and occasional tech part making its way in. Located in Johnstown, New York. Preferably looking for members in the Tri-city areas (mainly Troy and Albany) from 16-19 if possible. Demos for a 6 song ep have already been written, but are up for any changes depending on your style. Thank you for reading, contact me if you're interested, I'll send you the demos and I'll make sure to stay contacted to make it work as best as possible. Hoping to meet up together whenever possible. Thank you for checking it out, have a good day.
  3. I looking guitar player, drummer and bassist for my metal core project. Musicians in USA, Canada, Uk or others European countries. This start like a online band. Be part of this project , cause this be great. Send me audio rec or videovideo demo to: [email protected]
  4. Hello, Lead bassist of Nil Rovaan here. We are looking for both a drummer and a DJ, for our experimental band. Quite hard to explain what we want, other than that we are evolving our ideas constantly and want to change things around, but also keep what makes us us. We love a creepy, eerie atmosphere, probably foggy stage, however we'll be going from chugging like gojira, to playing funky nu-metal stuff. We want to be more than just one thing and we also want to be able to blend these things, for an unpredictable experience. We are based in Sweden. We want a drummer that can not only go fast but also play slower technical stuff. (I'm really bad at explaining drumming lol) We do not need an expert, but if you can hold a beat and evolve with us from there, shit message us, we can work things out. We have a good idea for what you'll look like, atleast (if you're a man, that is, otherwise we'll rethink it ofc) You'll be Porkgrinder, the human pig. More on that, if you're interested, it's only aesthetic anyway. We've also had an idea of a circular drum kit, but that is only up for debate and we'd begin thinking of that later on anyway. This is all up for debate ofc, if you have your own character, or way of playign that fits the band, we'll ofc look at it all as a band. DJ time! Turntables, synth, noisemaker and ambiance player. Hard to explain, but examples would be a combination of ministry's DJ, incubus DJ and what rammstein's keyboardist does. Take sounds/samples from our instruments and shift em around like the magician you are and use em in the songs. We also have ideas to plug our instruments, most likely a bass or guitar (or both) into your mixer(?) and let you mix the sound around and make all sorts of trippy stuff. So, if you feel like you're qualified by any margin, feel free to message us and make some new friends and connections. Any skill level and gender is allowed, don't be shy.
  5. Hello there! Sorry for my English: it's not my first language, so I can make horrible for you, native speakers, mistakes. You've been warned! ? So, here's the deal: I'm a self-taught guitarist. I've been playing for something like 7 years by now, but... It was hit or miss to be fair... I'm good enough to play different songs by tabs, have a passable skill of understanding some songs by ear (but I wouldn't count on that if we are sincere), can follow the metronome, fell the beat, but my knowledge of music theory sucks. I can write in Guitar Pro, for example, making right timings between notes, but I still struggle to come up with proper lead lines for my demos because of the lack of education. But enough with the sad part, okay? ? Now I believe I'm ready to give everything a fresh start and that's why I'm willing to try to form a band with musicians who share my interests in genres. Since my childhood I wanted to become a musician, a singer to be specific. So... Since I'm a guitarist with some sort of experience, you can say that's a dumb way to relearn into a singer but I see the point of this whole thing in a different way: I have a passion to music, I've always wanted to be a musician, so with right people on my side, also interested in making their own music, I hope I'll accomplish this task. I want to write true to heart and true to life lyrics and reinforce them with simple but no less worthy of it melodies. By the way, if you're a singer yourself and wish to participate in my searching for becoming a metalcore singer - fell free to contact me - I'll be glad to hear some instructions from you! Let's speak concretely about music that I want to write with you, friends, if you're interested. Mostly it's metalcore/post-hardcore. I found them touching with all their inherent lyric-based foundation, moving riffs and face-cracking breakdowns. Speaking about bands, as an example I can highlight such bands as: Asking Alexandria, Capture (ex Capture The Crown), Crown The Empire, Motionless in White, Beartooth, Down&Dirty, I See Stars, Annisokay, Adept, Bad Omens, Of Mice & Men, A Skylit Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May Fire, Blessthefal, Architects, Forever In Combat and some others... Jeez, that's hard to recall all of them, but I hope you got the point. Now I'm looking for a fellow musicians who can participate and contribute their vision. I wish to find a music soulmates who's passionate enough to try to produce something new of their own. I understand that I'm not the best in guitar field, so that's why I'm all ready to give up this place in favor of any of you willing and ready to deliver, and try all my best to advance in singing. Let's create something with which we won't be ashamed to go out in people and try to break into the music scene (yeah, that sounds arrogantly, but I believe that you must dream big). Let's learn everything step-by-step together and help everyone out. Feel free to comment on this topic if you're at least somehow interested. Since I'm from a third-world-piece-of-crap-country (yeah, Russia, sorry ?), we won't be able to jam together IRL, but i'm friendly with anything computer-related, at least we'll be sharing demos and tabs... I have an old Avid FastTrack Solo, so I can record something at home ?. Have a great time!
  6. As in title, I am looking for musicians to finish off the atmospheric doom metal project, I got 80% of guitars done, need rest of people to finish it and go further
  7. I'm a serious drummer looking for a serious touring metal band. I am looking for a band that will be making money from touring. I do need to make at least enough money to pay my monthly bills. But, my goal is to make a great living touring and recording not just make ends meet. I know this can be done with the right people. I'm looking for a band that is professional and that is ready to start writing and recording music then jump into touring or that has preexisting original material that I can learn so we can get on the road. I am based in the Northern Virginia area. But as long as the band is making money through touring so I can cover all my expenses travel from my area to yours for rehearsals should not be an issue. A bit about myself: I've been playing drums for 23 year's. My style of drumming is like a combo of Vinnie Paul (Pantera), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) and Dave Weckl (Chick Corea Band). I pull from my influences while striving to have my own voice as a musician. So that means that I work to create unique beats and fills as well as pulling from the metal beats and fills that I also love. I am also a Christian. So I have to be comfortable with the band's lyrics and content. I can't play behind anything anti-Christian and I can't play behind any lyrics with cursing in them. I am completely good with playing in a band with people with any beliefs as long as there is mutual respect amongst all the members. I just have to be able to stand behind what I put my name on and am associated with. Some of my influences are: Pantera, Deftones, Living Sacrifice, Zao, He Is Legend, Extol, Norma Jean, Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Cannibal Corpse, to name just a few. Here are some clips of my playing. This is a cover. I played it pretty close to the original recording. https://youtu.be/z_ClsciMIBo This is some live footage with an original band that I was in. https://youtu.be/WsGFJoU_6m8 If you are looking for a serious drummer that is easy to get along with and that is committed to playing metal full time for a living please get in touch with me with some examples of your music. Thanks
  8. Wanting to set up/join a YouTube based internet band. Mostly heavy rock/metal/Djent, totally open to other styles. I'm a heavy metal Guitarist from India, using Yamaha EG112 with Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2in/2out Audio Interface.
  9. Hi everyone, I was wondering if there were any guitarists on this forum who recorded their own black metal and needed live drums tracked? I'm not looking to make any money, I just want to have some fun. I just moved in to my new house and got my studio set up so I wanted to see if I could get going on some music. I'm very open to whatever you have. This is my first post so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot.
  10. Chronicles is a french metal band from Bordeaux, formed in 2015 by Mathieu Larroudé.The line-up is Mathieu Larroudé (guitar), Thomas (guitar), the brothers Alexandre & Vicent Camontes (drum & bass) and Matt (vocals).Chronicles’ music is influenced by jent, thrash and death metal. Still, the band is not willing to sit back and write in only one particular genre. Mixing brutality and groove with destructured compositions, the music is both technical and efficient.A pre-production led to an artist deal for Mathieu and Vincent with Mayones Guitar & Bass. The Album «The Man On A Leash» is the first of a series and tells a science fiction story. It was recorded during summer 2015 at La Cahute studio (drum and bass). Guitars and vocals were recorded by the band and mixed by Matt. El Mobo, Conkrete Studio (Gorod, Loudblast,..) worked on the mastering and was finaly released in january 2016.Second part is to be recorded about spring 2016. The visuals were designed by Bastien Jez and based on the story concept.DRUM CAM:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_L-rmdL6EUGUITAR PLAYTHROUGH:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg17...mW7Tpc&index=2Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/chroniclesmetalband
