  1. its been quite a while since i've done any projects, and i'm getting back in to writing/recording. Could really use a drummer or even an electronic drum programmer who can write tracks using cubase or fruity loops or something like that...let me know if interested at all..This is really my biggest passion in life and i would absolutely love nothing more than to get some full tracks produced and see where it goes...( i guess i didnt mention, i'll be playing and recording guitar) Here's a track i did some time ago..I'm not the greatest drum programmer/writer and i've revised the song and made it way more tech..so this is old and just a draft, but you can still get some idea of my style i guess.. link: https://clyp.it/nbvi551b PLEASE message me if interested at all, im in USA by the way, but doesnt really matter.
  2. Hello everybody, I hope you guys are doing well. This is Bugra Fatih Demiryurek(BFD as musician name). I wanted to share you my brand new single "Prødigy" produced by MO Metal Productions featuring James Phillips, Brian Gosling(Grimzee) from As The Structure Fails, Thomas Rech from Matahari. We conducted a big international project having 5 talented and well-known people on social media all around the world and I truly believe that this project has a huge potential to be loved by the heavy music fans. All the instruments and the parts in the song were written by me except the lyrics and last 2 guest guitar solos. I was lucky enough to get this song heard by my idols and the feedback from them, musicians, instrument players got me more hyped to believe that this song really has a good potential. I would appreciate if you guys also share it or put it in your playlists so that we can have the stream that this song deserves! Below is the Spotify link to the new single: Below is the Apple Music link to the new single: https://music.apple.com/us/album/prødigy-feat-james-phillips-grimzee-thomas-rech/1713086083?i=1713086084 Below is the Youtube Music link to the new single: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=EFiolQX5XkY&feature=shared My Socials Spotify:https://open.spotify.com/artist/3bK8qvQnYBrYh8XGRfYk7P?si=QVVcGmHMSISxgJTFBiKl2w Youtube Music:https://music.youtube.com/channel/UCZe89RKDdyQVHNS-rLTwjrw?feature=shared Instagram:www.instagram.com/bfdemiryurek/ Youtube:www.youtube.com/@bugrafatihdemiryurek8687 Tiktok:www.tiktok.com/@bfdemiryurek42?_t=8gjETWZUuyT&_r=1 Soundcloud:@user-994482758 Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you! 3. Hails! Aasfresser is searching for session members supporting the newest recordings of unique and anachronist black metal. There is enough material recorded for 2 full-length albums and some EPs, from harsh raw black metal to more epic and even psychedelic metal. Recording examples are shown below. -Vocals Distorted and raspy vocals like those of early Darkthrone, Emperor or Enslaved; Clean vocals as well. -Bass There should be any kind of bass here and it will be audible in the mix. If the bass tracks do more than just following the guitar lines, I will be happy. -Drums Aasfresser drums are quite complex for this kind of music and probably difficult to play. Generally I prefer a rough sound. The programmed drums alreadys come close to what I imagine, though real ones will be better. -Solo Guitars There could be some semi-dissonant old-school solos like that one on Slayers Raining Blood or those of Bathory -Acoustics Additionally, there might be an acoustic intro or something like this. Vocals, bass and drums are the most important thing. If you are interested, send a personal message with own recording examples or post it just here! Recording equipment and knowledge (home studio, garage, bedroom etc) should be available. A professional studio is not required, but sound quality should be adequate for that style of music. There are no intentions for live events etc. https://soundcloud.com/user-595238393
  4. I’m a young musician looking for anyone between the ages of 15-19 who are interested in an online metal project. This is a project just for fun. I have been writing music for a bout 2-3 years now and I want to be able to record something.
  5. Link To My Channel: LORD THORGORATHHope nobody minds if I do a little self-promotion on here. Hard to getyour name out there nowadays....What's going on extreme brothers & sisters?!?My name's Lord Thorgorath and I am a new YouTube vlogger.I was inspired by the likes of Jackass and Viva La Bam to start going on my own wild adventures in life and to spread ananarchistic free love-type message to the masses. All complete withplenty of extreme (and softer, more subtle) music choices ?So....if anybody is interested in checking me out,click on the link posted ABOVE.If you don't like my content, that's fine, I still love you anyway \m/ I'm all about bringing people together despite personal differences.Let's all have a party!!
  6. Hello there! Sorry for my English: it's not my first language, so I can make horrible for you, native speakers, mistakes. You've been warned! ? So, here's the deal: I'm a self-taught guitarist. I've been playing for something like 7 years by now, but... It was hit or miss to be fair... I'm good enough to play different songs by tabs, have a passable skill of understanding some songs by ear (but I wouldn't count on that if we are sincere), can follow the metronome, fell the beat, but my knowledge of music theory sucks. I can write in Guitar Pro, for example, making right timings between notes, but I still struggle to come up with proper lead lines for my demos because of the lack of education. But enough with the sad part, okay? ? Now I believe I'm ready to give everything a fresh start and that's why I'm willing to try to form a band with musicians who share my interests in genres. Since my childhood I wanted to become a musician, a singer to be specific. So... Since I'm a guitarist with some sort of experience, you can say that's a dumb way to relearn into a singer but I see the point of this whole thing in a different way: I have a passion to music, I've always wanted to be a musician, so with right people on my side, also interested in making their own music, I hope I'll accomplish this task. I want to write true to heart and true to life lyrics and reinforce them with simple but no less worthy of it melodies. By the way, if you're a singer yourself and wish to participate in my searching for becoming a metalcore singer - fell free to contact me - I'll be glad to hear some instructions from you! Let's speak concretely about music that I want to write with you, friends, if you're interested. Mostly it's metalcore/post-hardcore. I found them touching with all their inherent lyric-based foundation, moving riffs and face-cracking breakdowns. Speaking about bands, as an example I can highlight such bands as: Asking Alexandria, Capture (ex Capture The Crown), Crown The Empire, Motionless in White, Beartooth, Down&Dirty, I See Stars, Annisokay, Adept, Bad Omens, Of Mice & Men, A Skylit Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May Fire, Blessthefal, Architects, Forever In Combat and some others... Jeez, that's hard to recall all of them, but I hope you got the point. Now I'm looking for a fellow musicians who can participate and contribute their vision. I wish to find a music soulmates who's passionate enough to try to produce something new of their own. I understand that I'm not the best in guitar field, so that's why I'm all ready to give up this place in favor of any of you willing and ready to deliver, and try all my best to advance in singing. Let's create something with which we won't be ashamed to go out in people and try to break into the music scene (yeah, that sounds arrogantly, but I believe that you must dream big). Let's learn everything step-by-step together and help everyone out. Feel free to comment on this topic if you're at least somehow interested. Since I'm from a third-world-piece-of-crap-country (yeah, Russia, sorry ?), we won't be able to jam together IRL, but i'm friendly with anything computer-related, at least we'll be sharing demos and tabs... I have an old Avid FastTrack Solo, so I can record something at home ?. Have a great time!
  7. My new song 'WAR' is now out on Spotify! I have written and produced everything by myself except for the vocals. Hope you like it!
  8. What albums have your favorite "drum tone"? Looking for references for mixing in the future. For me, the best drum tone has the new Judas Priest album (it's so powerful and wide).
  9. Im looking for an underoath, of mice & men, breaking Benjamin kind of vibe. Looking for experienced members that can help for ideas for a band and if not we can put together tracks and post them \m/

  12. I'm a serious drummer looking for a serious touring metal band. I am looking for a band that will be making money from touring. I do need to make at least enough money to pay my monthly bills. But, my goal is to make a great living touring and recording not just make ends meet. I know this can be done with the right people. I'm looking for a band that is professional and that is ready to start writing and recording music then jump into touring or that has preexisting original material that I can learn so we can get on the road. I am based in the Northern Virginia area. But as long as the band is making money through touring so I can cover all my expenses travel from my area to yours for rehearsals should not be an issue. A bit about myself: I've been playing drums for 23 year's. My style of drumming is like a combo of Vinnie Paul (Pantera), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) and Dave Weckl (Chick Corea Band). I pull from my influences while striving to have my own voice as a musician. So that means that I work to create unique beats and fills as well as pulling from the metal beats and fills that I also love. I am also a Christian. So I have to be comfortable with the band's lyrics and content. I can't play behind anything anti-Christian and I can't play behind any lyrics with cursing in them. I am completely good with playing in a band with people with any beliefs as long as there is mutual respect amongst all the members. I just have to be able to stand behind what I put my name on and am associated with. Some of my influences are: Pantera, Deftones, Living Sacrifice, Zao, He Is Legend, Extol, Norma Jean, Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Cannibal Corpse, to name just a few. Here are some clips of my playing. This is a cover. I played it pretty close to the original recording. https://youtu.be/z_ClsciMIBo This is some live footage with an original band that I was in. https://youtu.be/WsGFJoU_6m8 If you are looking for a serious drummer that is easy to get along with and that is committed to playing metal full time for a living please get in touch with me with some examples of your music. Thanks

  14. Hello. I'm new here. To make a long story short, I'm a drummer turned programmer turned studio engineer turned multi-instrumentalist turned aspiring middle-aged YouTuber. I ain't gonna lie. I enjoy quite a few types of music, metal included. I like Leo Moracchioli and he inspired me to start a YouTube channel where I do weekly rock / metal covers of pop songs from pretty much any era. (If you've never heard of Leo, just google "Adele Metal" and he's the first result, guaranteed. You won't regret it) Not to sound like I'm in an interview, but I think the thing that sets me apart is - instead of doing weekly guitar or drum or vocal or accordion covers, I do weekly metal everything covers, produced up to radio quality, and I make a dumb video of the whole thing. Every week. I like suggestions, too. That's about it. My video series is in my signature, but if you need a more direct route, I'll see if I can figure out how to embed YT videos here of my latest creation. I'm interested in seeing what this forum is all about. Thanks for your time.
  15. Nice kit For rock and metal maple or a maple hybrid, I too feel is the way to go. It would be hard to beat a 90's Ludwig Maple kit indeed. The house kit at the old brick church studio is a vintage Tama Rockstar Double Kick 92 best I can date it maybe 91, eight shells plus snare. It is hybrid maple with mahogany, and a mystery layer many say is poplar. Which I question not much poplar gets imported to Asia. I keep Evans heads on it. But there is a stash or Low Tuning friendly Aquarians on hand. I keep three Snare a Tama Rockstar 14 x 6.5, a 1964 15x 12 Maple Marching Snare, a copy of slingerland radio king. I dont keep much for cymbals, they are such a personal choice its best if a drummer brings their own. I use a custom pillow double ended "felt Platypus" for Kick dampening it allows movement off the head for full open at impact, and is very adjustable. Live it would slow down set up, and EMAD would be quicker and very similar result. What do you feel have been the far too easy to break cymbals in your career?
  16. Hi people, I just released this drum cover that i have made to The Enemy Inside. tell me what you think (;
