  1. Hello everybody, I hope you guys are doing well. This is Bugra Fatih Demiryurek(BFD as musician name). I wanted to share you my brand new single "Prødigy" produced by MO Metal Productions featuring James Phillips, Brian Gosling(Grimzee) from As The Structure Fails, Thomas Rech from Matahari. We conducted a big international project having 5 talented and well-known people on social media all around the world and I truly believe that this project has a huge potential to be loved by the heavy music fans. All the instruments and the parts in the song were written by me except the lyrics and last 2 guest guitar solos. I was lucky enough to get this song heard by my idols and the feedback from them, musicians, instrument players got me more hyped to believe that this song really has a good potential. I would appreciate if you guys also share it or put it in your playlists so that we can have the stream that this song deserves! Below is the Spotify link to the new single: Below is the Apple Music link to the new single: https://music.apple.com/us/album/prødigy-feat-james-phillips-grimzee-thomas-rech/1713086083?i=1713086084 Below is the Youtube Music link to the new single: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=EFiolQX5XkY&feature=shared My Socials Spotify:https://open.spotify.com/artist/3bK8qvQnYBrYh8XGRfYk7P?si=QVVcGmHMSISxgJTFBiKl2w Youtube Music:https://music.youtube.com/channel/UCZe89RKDdyQVHNS-rLTwjrw?feature=shared Instagram:www.instagram.com/bfdemiryurek/ Youtube:www.youtube.com/@bugrafatihdemiryurek8687 Tiktok:www.tiktok.com/@bfdemiryurek42?_t=8gjETWZUuyT&_r=1 Soundcloud:@user-994482758 Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you! 3. Hello I'm Darryl from Mauritius, I'm having some difficulty in choosing between these guitars: Chapman Guitars ML1 Standard Modern Lunar - $439 Jackson Pro Misha Mansoor HT7 FMCB - $659 Solar Guitars A2.7WHM - $678 Everyone of those has an ebony fretboard. The Chapman although cheaper, has a pretty decent sound. Was thinking of the Solar maybe?
  4. Hey guys, my buddy wrote this song, performed the drums, bass and guitar and recorded and mixed/engineered the song himself. I shot and edited the music video. We need feedback! Tell us what you think. Thanks!
  5. Hello everyone. I am new to this forum (and forum positing in general) I've been listening to bands like nokturnal mortum, emperor, shylmagoghnar etc - along with some less "black" metal bands on and off for over a decade. nokturnal mortum and emperor are life long loves of mine in particular. I had a death metal phase for a while too - gorotted, gorgasm, dying fetus, pig destroyer, black dahlia murder, etc... Whereas I think my own relationship with death metal was a reflection of a certain time in my life (I don't enjoy it so much as I used to) - black metal seems to have a timeless quality (at least to me). I've been wanting to get into art for a few years.. but have kind of hesitated.. now I am beginning to think I should just ease my way into it and let it grow naturally. I have decided to start making atmospheric black metal. I am not yet a musician.. I cannot play a single instrument.. but in the true tradition of black metal (at least what I understand it to be) - I'm going to start with whatever resources I have (I own an acoustic guitar and have access to music making software) - and go from there. I am hoping there might be some people on this forum who could offer me some tips. I want to buy an electric guitar eventually. Maybe even a drum kit in the future too (when my finance allows - though for the meantime I can use a drum machine). I was thinking I would start by getting to know the guitar via my acoustic. I guess my question is, in terms of learning to play the acoustic, what genre best translates to that classic "atmospheric black metal" sound that we hear? and which ones best translate when moved over to electric? If that makes sense. I have played around a little with simple finger picking exercises.. but knowing which genres would translate best into atmospheric kind of black metal would make a world of difference. And any other advice others have in these regards would also be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks to anyone who comments. Tony
  6. New cover! Let me know your opinion Classic Metallica´s stuff ??
  7. I’m a young musician looking for anyone between the ages of 15-19 who are interested in an online metal project. This is a project just for fun. I have been writing music for a bout 2-3 years now and I want to be able to record something.
  8. A young death metal band (Immortal Obscurity) looking for a rhythm guitarist, bass player and drummer. Need members that can play anything from slow to fast tempo death metal. The band is mainly reminiscent of old school death metal influences with some slam, melodic and occasional tech part making its way in. Located in Johnstown, New York. Preferably looking for members in the Tri-city areas (mainly Troy and Albany) from 16-19 if possible. Demos for a 6 song ep have already been written, but are up for any changes depending on your style. Thank you for reading, contact me if you're interested, I'll send you the demos and I'll make sure to stay contacted to make it work as best as possible. Hoping to meet up together whenever possible. Thank you for checking it out, have a good day.
  9. Hello People! My name is Pitty666 and i am from (Not so doomed) Germany I started playing guitar in 2003. I've learned it on my own but mostly just for fun and nothing special. I Quickly came into a point that i didn't see any progress or good sounding stuff. So i let my guitar rest for good 16 years. Then In 2019, some dark strange spirits came over me. My dedication for Metal Music was grown to such an high level, that i decided to pick up my guitar again. I turned my old B.C. Rich Warlock Speedloader into a custom made Warlock, with a brand new Floyd Rose and regular tuning mechanics. I took my old 5 Watt Marshall amp by side and finally joined the "Orange Club" with the 15 Watt Rocker 15 combo amp. The Sound was awesome but all i know was playing by tabs. I wanted to play my own music.I wanted to show the music, that is in my head and share the feelings it delivers to me with other people. So i decided to learn how music is made and all about Scales Shapes and Modes. I was looking for the dark stuff u know.... For recording i've ordered the basic kit for 2019 times i think: - Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 -SHURE SM57 mic -Mackie CR4 speaker I work with Cubase 5 on Windows 10 So far.. I hope to find some People here to have a talk about making/recording music on an basic and simple level. There is one Track on Youtube i've made. i will drop the link, in the right corner of this forum soon. -Pitty666

  11. Our band Horizon Eyes is currently looking for additional members for writing & recording. We are a prog/deathcore band. The current lineup consists of myself-vocals, drums & production vlad-rhythm guitarist desmond-lead guitarist & bass(only until we find a bass player) we‘re looking for one more guitarist, a keyboard/piano/synth player, Bassist, & possibly a drummer. Although we are doing fine on our own & don’t ‚need‘ any new members, we for sure aren’t against it & with the right person, could actually benefit us quite a bit. currently we communicate through discord & ocassionaly E-Mail. We write in guitar pro, then make a superior drummer midi, record guitars, then bass, then vocals then start production. We have 3/6 instrumentals about 90% done of the current music we are working on & can show examples if interested. our ‚influences‘ are bands like spiritbox, Emmure, veil of maya, Whitechapel, etc.
  12. Greetings, My band is looking for a guitarist for an experimental/progressive extreme metal band. Bands influences are Ihsahn, Leprous, Ne Obliviscaris, Blotted Science, Death, etc... Guitarist is to be experienced, reliable, has the ability to record and use online tools, we're all from different countries (UK, USA, South Africa, Lebanon) and are looking forward to releasing our first album in mid 2021. ~ Long Term ~ May have to travel for live performance. Thank you. - Mike
  13. I need some serious help, I’ve been trying to find the green Ibanez rg 8 string guitar that Justin Lowe used. I understand he had some custom work done like the neck, color, and tone killswitch, but I really just want to find the exact model he built on. I can’t seem to find any specific article on it, and all Ibanez’s website says is he used rg model. Thank you in advance!
  14. Hello there! Sorry for my English: it's not my first language, so I can make horrible for you, native speakers, mistakes. You've been warned! ? So, here's the deal: I'm a self-taught guitarist. I've been playing for something like 7 years by now, but... It was hit or miss to be fair... I'm good enough to play different songs by tabs, have a passable skill of understanding some songs by ear (but I wouldn't count on that if we are sincere), can follow the metronome, fell the beat, but my knowledge of music theory sucks. I can write in Guitar Pro, for example, making right timings between notes, but I still struggle to come up with proper lead lines for my demos because of the lack of education. But enough with the sad part, okay? ? Now I believe I'm ready to give everything a fresh start and that's why I'm willing to try to form a band with musicians who share my interests in genres. Since my childhood I wanted to become a musician, a singer to be specific. So... Since I'm a guitarist with some sort of experience, you can say that's a dumb way to relearn into a singer but I see the point of this whole thing in a different way: I have a passion to music, I've always wanted to be a musician, so with right people on my side, also interested in making their own music, I hope I'll accomplish this task. I want to write true to heart and true to life lyrics and reinforce them with simple but no less worthy of it melodies. By the way, if you're a singer yourself and wish to participate in my searching for becoming a metalcore singer - fell free to contact me - I'll be glad to hear some instructions from you! Let's speak concretely about music that I want to write with you, friends, if you're interested. Mostly it's metalcore/post-hardcore. I found them touching with all their inherent lyric-based foundation, moving riffs and face-cracking breakdowns. Speaking about bands, as an example I can highlight such bands as: Asking Alexandria, Capture (ex Capture The Crown), Crown The Empire, Motionless in White, Beartooth, Down&Dirty, I See Stars, Annisokay, Adept, Bad Omens, Of Mice & Men, A Skylit Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May Fire, Blessthefal, Architects, Forever In Combat and some others... Jeez, that's hard to recall all of them, but I hope you got the point. Now I'm looking for a fellow musicians who can participate and contribute their vision. I wish to find a music soulmates who's passionate enough to try to produce something new of their own. I understand that I'm not the best in guitar field, so that's why I'm all ready to give up this place in favor of any of you willing and ready to deliver, and try all my best to advance in singing. Let's create something with which we won't be ashamed to go out in people and try to break into the music scene (yeah, that sounds arrogantly, but I believe that you must dream big). Let's learn everything step-by-step together and help everyone out. Feel free to comment on this topic if you're at least somehow interested. Since I'm from a third-world-piece-of-crap-country (yeah, Russia, sorry ?), we won't be able to jam together IRL, but i'm friendly with anything computer-related, at least we'll be sharing demos and tabs... I have an old Avid FastTrack Solo, so I can record something at home ?. Have a great time!

  20. Behold, the 'industrial metal' project - Military Industrial Complex. An invocation of the brutal machinations of the war machine, exhorting it's gleeful offering of human life and endless toil. Rejoice, as the enemies of this industry are crushed beneath the weight of trillions of dollars of military research. Watch the feeble fall before the might of the empire, backed by the rituals of the damned, sacrificing the mob for the benefit of the ruling elite. Here, we have woven occult understandings and psychological truth with the grinding force which drives the war machine to create a sound to bang your head on, or to stew in understanding of it's great evil perfection. May you grant the bearer of it's glory many likes and subscribes and bow down in indentured servitude !!! militaryindustrialcomplex.ca https://www.facebook.com/militaryindustrialcomplex1

  22. Videoclip Hello there fellow metalmaniacs!!! We would like to self-promote our metalband Primitive. We had a couple up and downs the past 3 years (band members leaving, gaining new members, reconfiguring bandmember mindsets ) but with a mission to blast again, and to blast even harder, we double dare you to listen to the sound this band makes for you! We hope you all will enjoy it. Grab that coffee! A good and heavy-morning to all of you! Spotify Primitive - Cerberus (Single) Primitive - Raw Traces(Raw Demo) Primitive Bio From the ditches of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, at the ports of the feet of Hell(evoetsluis) Primitive is one of the last remnants from a decade of heavy metal bands thrashing the local area. After the closing down of all the venues they retreated in the bunkers of Hellevoetsluis working on new incantations bringing homage to all the silenced noises before them. Howls with high sustain and blood trembling speed metal rhythms will blast you away with the earth shattering grooves and energetic performance of this band. Starting out in 2007 they allready gave their crowds a brutal blast of metal. After seven years of gigging they finaly recorded their first single Nightmare. While aiming for a fulllength album their drummer decided to leave the band. But after a short period of time they gained a new drummer who blasted his way to Cerberus and Raw Traces just to the taste the band needed so much. Quotes 'Now working on their new album and revisiting the old, soon your flesh will be moved.' 'We play the stuff we like to play, we are heavy and melodical in one. Guess that is the taste Primitive brings to the gigs we play.' ‘Primitive will leave you feelin' punched in the face by metal!’ Social Media: Primitive on Bandcamp Primitive on Twitter Primitive on Instagram Primitive on Facebook
