Could really use a drummer or even an electronic drum programmer who can write tracks using cubase or fruity loops or something like that...let me know if interested at all..This is really my biggest passion in life and i would absolutely love nothing more than to get some full tracks produced and see where it goes...( i guess i didnt mention, i'll be playing and recording guitar) Here's a track i did some time ago..I'm not the greatest drum programmer/writer and i've revised the song and made it way more tech..so this is old and just a draft, but you can still get some idea of my style i guess.. link: https://clyp.it/nbvi551b PLEASE message me if interested at all, im in USA by the way, but doesnt really matter.

Before starting i would like to show you something that could help you There are people to whom music is not just a hobby, it is a discipline and a lifestyle they are professional and perfectionists with what they do and their efforts pay off If you love music and you want to go ahead with this, here is the Oscar Durieux's class for: guitar - drums - piano - bass A lot of music styles, learn about music composition, harmony, reading partitures the best part is that the class is completely customized, you decide what you want to learn If you want to know more about this send me a message and I will give you all the information you need ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Today I bring you some tips to rec music from your own home, here are some adapters you can got in any instruments shop it's very cheap, in my country it costs like $ 0,75 - 0,50 Left: this connects your guitar/bass/mic to you computer Right: this connects your headphones (optional) there are many kinds of recording adapters here is another this costs a little more but it's still cheap as it's expensive it has better quality to rec Now you have the device but you have to rec with a program, audacity is free and very complete if you are starting very easy to use you just open the mic like in the image below when you have conected your device and it will appear there, then select your device and rec as simple like that This was the most essential and basic information you need to know if you want to rec from home here are a lot of programs i use to record, so if you liked this and want more follow me and i will upload a lot of content like this

  8. A young death metal band (Immortal Obscurity) looking for a rhythm guitarist, bass player and drummer. Need members that can play anything from slow to fast tempo death metal. The band is mainly reminiscent of old school death metal influences with some slam, melodic and occasional tech part making its way in. Located in Johnstown, New York. Preferably looking for members in the Tri-city areas (mainly Troy and Albany) from 16-19 if possible. Demos for a 6 song ep have already been written, but are up for any changes depending on your style. Thank you for reading, contact me if you're interested, I'll send you the demos and I'll make sure to stay contacted to make it work as best as possible. Hoping to meet up together whenever possible. Thank you for checking it out, have a good day.
  9. Our band Horizon Eyes is currently looking for additional members for writing & recording. We are a prog/deathcore band. The current lineup consists of myself-vocals, drums & production vlad-rhythm guitarist desmond-lead guitarist & bass(only until we find a bass player) we‘re looking for one more guitarist, a keyboard/piano/synth player, Bassist, & possibly a drummer. Although we are doing fine on our own & don’t ‚need‘ any new members, we for sure aren’t against it & with the right person, could actually benefit us quite a bit. currently we communicate through discord & ocassionaly E-Mail. We write in guitar pro, then make a superior drummer midi, record guitars, then bass, then vocals then start production. We have 3/6 instrumentals about 90% done of the current music we are working on & can show examples if interested. our ‚influences‘ are bands like spiritbox, Emmure, veil of maya, Whitechapel, etc.

  12. Hello there! Sorry for my English: it's not my first language, so I can make horrible for you, native speakers, mistakes. You've been warned! ? So, here's the deal: I'm a self-taught guitarist. I've been playing for something like 7 years by now, but... It was hit or miss to be fair... I'm good enough to play different songs by tabs, have a passable skill of understanding some songs by ear (but I wouldn't count on that if we are sincere), can follow the metronome, fell the beat, but my knowledge of music theory sucks. I can write in Guitar Pro, for example, making right timings between notes, but I still struggle to come up with proper lead lines for my demos because of the lack of education. But enough with the sad part, okay? ? Now I believe I'm ready to give everything a fresh start and that's why I'm willing to try to form a band with musicians who share my interests in genres. Since my childhood I wanted to become a musician, a singer to be specific. So... Since I'm a guitarist with some sort of experience, you can say that's a dumb way to relearn into a singer but I see the point of this whole thing in a different way: I have a passion to music, I've always wanted to be a musician, so with right people on my side, also interested in making their own music, I hope I'll accomplish this task. I want to write true to heart and true to life lyrics and reinforce them with simple but no less worthy of it melodies. By the way, if you're a singer yourself and wish to participate in my searching for becoming a metalcore singer - fell free to contact me - I'll be glad to hear some instructions from you! Let's speak concretely about music that I want to write with you, friends, if you're interested. Mostly it's metalcore/post-hardcore. I found them touching with all their inherent lyric-based foundation, moving riffs and face-cracking breakdowns. Speaking about bands, as an example I can highlight such bands as: Asking Alexandria, Capture (ex Capture The Crown), Crown The Empire, Motionless in White, Beartooth, Down&Dirty, I See Stars, Annisokay, Adept, Bad Omens, Of Mice & Men, A Skylit Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May Fire, Blessthefal, Architects, Forever In Combat and some others... Jeez, that's hard to recall all of them, but I hope you got the point. Now I'm looking for a fellow musicians who can participate and contribute their vision. I wish to find a music soulmates who's passionate enough to try to produce something new of their own. I understand that I'm not the best in guitar field, so that's why I'm all ready to give up this place in favor of any of you willing and ready to deliver, and try all my best to advance in singing. Let's create something with which we won't be ashamed to go out in people and try to break into the music scene (yeah, that sounds arrogantly, but I believe that you must dream big). Let's learn everything step-by-step together and help everyone out. Feel free to comment on this topic if you're at least somehow interested. Since I'm from a third-world-piece-of-crap-country (yeah, Russia, sorry ?), we won't be able to jam together IRL, but i'm friendly with anything computer-related, at least we'll be sharing demos and tabs... I have an old Avid FastTrack Solo, so I can record something at home ?. Have a great time!
  13. I am trying to find others near me to play in a metal band, but I don't have any other ideas for finding them. I'm 16 so it's super hard to find band members at about the same age. I've tried craigslist but nobody responded, tried to get friends to start learning instruments, and checking other forums. So far nothing has worked. Any ideas of what I can do to move foreward? Better ways of finding people?
  14. Im looking for a band to do any kind of metal.
  15. Hi, what is your opinion ?
  16. Hey guys, first of all, srry for the english, iI'm not a fluent. So, 2 months ago, I was listening a band on spotify. I liked the band but, I forgot to save it :( and I can't remember any part of the lyrics of a single song as well as the title. The only thing I weakly remember is the cover art of an album. I added a (bad) draw of the cover art, but here is a little description. - A guy with a hat and a red mask, like a cowboy - Black horse behind the guy - A kind of (blue?) aura around the horse (if I remind correctly) That's all I can remember, if someone could help me, I would appreciate! Thanks :D

  19. I'm a serious drummer looking for a serious touring metal band. I am looking for a band that will be making money from touring. I do need to make at least enough money to pay my monthly bills. But, my goal is to make a great living touring and recording not just make ends meet. I know this can be done with the right people. I'm looking for a band that is professional and that is ready to start writing and recording music then jump into touring or that has preexisting original material that I can learn so we can get on the road. I am based in the Northern Virginia area. But as long as the band is making money through touring so I can cover all my expenses travel from my area to yours for rehearsals should not be an issue. A bit about myself: I've been playing drums for 23 year's. My style of drumming is like a combo of Vinnie Paul (Pantera), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) and Dave Weckl (Chick Corea Band). I pull from my influences while striving to have my own voice as a musician. So that means that I work to create unique beats and fills as well as pulling from the metal beats and fills that I also love. I am also a Christian. So I have to be comfortable with the band's lyrics and content. I can't play behind anything anti-Christian and I can't play behind any lyrics with cursing in them. I am completely good with playing in a band with people with any beliefs as long as there is mutual respect amongst all the members. I just have to be able to stand behind what I put my name on and am associated with. Some of my influences are: Pantera, Deftones, Living Sacrifice, Zao, He Is Legend, Extol, Norma Jean, Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Cannibal Corpse, to name just a few. Here are some clips of my playing. This is a cover. I played it pretty close to the original recording. https://youtu.be/z_ClsciMIBo This is some live footage with an original band that I was in. https://youtu.be/WsGFJoU_6m8 If you are looking for a serious drummer that is easy to get along with and that is committed to playing metal full time for a living please get in touch with me with some examples of your music. Thanks

  21. Nice kit For rock and metal maple or a maple hybrid, I too feel is the way to go. It would be hard to beat a 90's Ludwig Maple kit indeed. The house kit at the old brick church studio is a vintage Tama Rockstar Double Kick 92 best I can date it maybe 91, eight shells plus snare. It is hybrid maple with mahogany, and a mystery layer many say is poplar. Which I question not much poplar gets imported to Asia. I keep Evans heads on it. But there is a stash or Low Tuning friendly Aquarians on hand. I keep three Snare a Tama Rockstar 14 x 6.5, a 1964 15x 12 Maple Marching Snare, a copy of slingerland radio king. I dont keep much for cymbals, they are such a personal choice its best if a drummer brings their own. I use a custom pillow double ended "felt Platypus" for Kick dampening it allows movement off the head for full open at impact, and is very adjustable. Live it would slow down set up, and EMAD would be quicker and very similar result. What do you feel have been the far too easy to break cymbals in your career?
  22. Check out our first ever song released at 11.08.2017
