Grave Miasma - Abyss Of Wrathful Deities   ...first time through. I've had my hopes up for this one. "Odori Sepulcrorum" is still one of my favorites, and I thought pretty highly of "Endless Pilgrimage" although I don't play it very often.

These are some cuts from the film Trondr Nefas (Urgehal (Norway) guitar/vox) was working on when he died on this date in 2012. Posted by the dude who was helping him film and edit it. Looks like it would have been a really cool doco. Even the trailers are fascinating.
 

Saxon is my personal favorite out of all the early 80's nwobhm era bands. I prefer them over Priest and Maiden and anyone else from that nwobhm movement you care to name except for Motorhead. I'll take Motorhead over any other late 70's early 80's band bar none.
That said, the only Saxon albums you really absolutely need are Strong Arm of the Law, Wheels of Steel, Denim & Leather and I guess Power and the Glory. Crusader is alright but not essential. Thats it, the whole Saxon story in a nutshell.

Sounds like you're describing Tim Tams. Haven't had one of those in a few years but now all of a sudden I want one. 10 pm too late, local stores are closed. I'm sure if I look I'll find something to make do in the kitchen.

Previewed that one a couple of times on YouTube because the cover grabbed my attention. Still on the fence on whether I really need it or not because I'm trying not to buy 400 albums again this year. But nice going on acquiring that badass orange t-shirt, I like that. Might have to grab one of those for myself. I reckon with you being across the pond and all, at least we won't have to worry about showing up at the pub together both wearing the same bright orange shirt with a Nazi Wolfenstein Skelton on it.
