  1. It looks pretty simple too, which is nice - no annoying Floyd Rose or unnecessary features. I learned the hard way that getting a guitar with unneeded, flashy details is not the best option. While I don't know much (anything really) about guitar tech, I take your word for it that the specs are great. If its for metal, then I would tend to prefer the black finish (though natural wood is nice too!).

I think the structure is fitting, though, Their music was always a bit technical.
  3. That looks like a really nice guitar! I like the body shape.
  4. Anal Cunt had songs! I am inclined to agree with you other thoughts, though.
  5. I gave Fornicator's full length another listen this morning, and, though I think you have a point about trying to create maximum offensiveness, there certainly appeared to be a degree of genuine perversion/dedication to theme that goes beyond merely trying to be shocking. But that is only my impression, as I cannot back up my view with evidence from interviews! (You may be completely right the whole time!) Bizarre Uproar is pretty serious though. Your band sounds a bit like Anal Cunt!
  6. It's interesting too how indistinguishable humor in extreme music can often be from serious interest. Cannibal Corpse always seem like they are joking, Fornicator or Bizarre Uproar not so much.
  7. Some of the others I am on have been pretty active recently (though I suspect that one is active because it is rather new).
  8. I agree with @FatherAlabaster. So long as your lyrics come from a position of authentic interest or respect, cultural appropriation should not be a problem to any fair-minded person.
  9. Some Japanese free jazz by Masayuki Takayangi. Very interesting stuff, and I would like to learn more about it.
  10. Greetings! What bands do you like the most?
  11. This may help: https://www.metal-archives.com/search?searchString=worms&type=song_title
  12. Greetings! What sort of contests do you compete in? Trivia?
  13. I think that I will explore his work more over the next few days. Fran Marder sounds like a good place to go next. Also, I just updated my post with the name.
  14. Arkanum: Kostogher First time actually giving this a proper listen. I liked it a lot - lots of interesting riffs, and the variation in the vocals was cool.
  15. I don't like it, but I follow the rules.
  16. I thought They Often See Dreams of the Spring was there most recent album? Now that I think of it, you might want to check out Eastern Frontier in Flames, if you have not already. It's mostly cover tracks, but there is some interesting experimentation.
  17. Haha! Someone did one of these for Napalm Death too. Ironically, all of the cds that I posted a picture of in the recent acquisitions thread sound essentially like this.
  18. Stabat Mater - Stabat Mater
  19. I really love the progression that you can see in his paintings of trees. If I remember correctly, there is another that comes after the bottom one that is even more abstract.
