  1. I’ve never listened to Fields Of The Nephilim, but I will check them out. Thanks for the suggestion.
  2. I’m starting to really like Bauhaus and The Sisters Of Mercy, but I also like some of the more glam-sounding gothic rock bands, such as Specimen and Visage. My favorite gothic rock band is The Doors, who were the founders of gothic rock.
  3. Young Frankenstein Oh! What do they teach in this place?!?
  4. Thanks for the album suggestions. I’ll listen to these soon.
  5. Pantera is a great band. Vulgar Display of Power is a good album, and so is Far Beyond Driven.
  6. I agree with your statement about Guitar Hero helping people discover new bands. Guitar Hero and Rock Band helped me discover the greatness of rock and roll. I probably would have never heard of Tool had it not been for World Tour.
  7. Since you like Black Sabbath, you should check out Electric Wizard. They are a stoner metal band that sounds a bit like Sabbath. You should check out the Legalise Drugs and Murder EP and Dopethrone when you get a chance.
  8. I’m starting to get into reggae a little bit. I started listening when I got the chance to play guitar in a reggae band a few weeks ago. If you like reggae, please list your favorite artists and songs. The main artists I like so far are Bob Marley (One Love/People Get Ready) and Barrington Levy (Black Roses).
  9. That was a pretty funny response. I would like to unhear Metallica and Lou Reed’s Lulu album. I like Metallica, and I like Lou Reed, but they sound awful together.
  10. The new Metallica album was good, but not as good as the 80s albums.
  11. Everyone should check out Wartooth, a new thrash act from Brisbane, Australia. Their EP, “Virus”, is a great album for anyone who likes Exodus or Slayer.
  12. Wartooth is a good thrash metal band from Brisbane, Australia. They have a great EP, “Virus”. Check them out if you are a fan of Exodus or Slayer. The band’s YouTube channel is Wartooth Metal.
  13. Some of my favorite comedians are Jerry Clower, Willie P. Richardson, Roy D. Mercer, and Larry the Cable Guy. Jay Hickman is also pretty funny. Everyone here should listen to Boat Ride (Part 2) by Jay Hickman. Warning: your sides might hurt from laughing too much.
  14. 1. Master of Reality 2. Black Sabbath 3. Vol. 4
  15. I agree that Bon Scott was a better singer than Brian Johnson. Bon Scott was good at shocking people. He shocked people by dressing up as a woman for a live performance of "Baby, Please Don't Go", making "Jailbreak" sound so encouraging that it couldn't be released until the 80's, and scaring Americans with the Highway to Hell album.
  16. I would want to be Lemmy (without the cigarettes and drugs), so I could get a lot of women. Also, I could have that crazy singing voice like he has.
  17. Bryan Adams - Reckless. Brings back memories of when I was younger.
  18. I can't believe it's already August. Seems like yesterday was New Years Eve. I'm not much of a better guitarist or bassist, like I intended to be this year, but I have started running more often, so that's one New Years resolution that I've actually stuck to. Anyways, the Giants are tied 0-0 against the Browns. Odell Beckham Jr. got hurt BAD. I'm also ready for McGregor to knock out Mayweather in a few days.
  19. I've never been a huge fan of Dead Kennedys, but they have a few good songs. The Clash also have some really good songs. The earlier Misfits stuff is great. I wish the Misfits would get Glenn Danzig back on vocals instead of the frontman they have now.
  20. I think Keith Morris did great on the Nervous Breakdown album. It's hard to decide whether he or Henry Rollins was the better vocalist for Black Flag. I guess it depends on what song it is. Green Day and The Offspring are pretty good. I really liked Green Day back when I was in middle school. Now, I like more hardcore punk, but I still listen to Green Day every now and then. I love the Egyptian sounding part in The Offspring's Come Out And Play.
  21. I listen to Kyuss sometimes. Welcome To Sky Valley is a great album. Haven’t listened to any of their other albums yet.
  22. I just started listening to Monster Magnet. I really like Space Lord. The guitar playing in Powertrip sounds like Mötörhead with a little less distortion.
