  • Biography
Love thrash. Also love classic rock, traditional heavy metal, hair metal, some newer metal, I even like the bands Death and Venom which are death metal and black metal. I also enjoy alternative rock like the red hot chili peppers, but I probaly shouldn't say that on this site. What I'm getting at is that I like a lot of different music even a few (and I mean FEW) country songs.

  1. Is it weird that just a few weeks after this comment he actually was dead
  2. I do like That Metal Show, but I understand your hatred and the claim that they don't talk about "real" metal. We talk a little bit about everything from black to death to thrash to traditional and even a little bit of hard rock Thanks for the advice, I will take it into consideration. I have a few strong followers that I know will sit through the whole thing and that is good enough for me. We definitely want people to watch it and enjoy it, but we also really enjoy doing it so when we have the chance to make a video together we want to fit a lot of stuff in. Our first couple videos were not very well organized and kind of off our cuff so we didn't have in depth explanations for why we liked stuff, but that is something we are definitely going to work on.
  3. My friend and I have started a Metal Discussion show on YouTube called Metal Thrashing Mad, if you're a fan of thrash, black, death, power, or traditional heavy metal or even a little classic rock, check out our video(s). We talk about news in the metal community, underground bands we think more people should hear, we also discuss bands that everyone knows, and we create lists. We have one video up, and our second video is being edited right now. Check out our channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIsv9x7OOkEsxuCa1U9NUmQ and our video:
  4. I found this new metal blog, the guy does reviews and shit on heavy metal, thrash metal, hair metal, and hard rock. I thought some of his things were pretty good. The URL is Thrash 'Till Death: The Heavy Metal Refuge - Thrash 'Till Death: The Heavy Metal Refuge
  5. Cool, I didn't know how good it was, and I forgot about For Whom the Bell Tolls because it's bass but I'll try that out.
  6. This is a great reply, I'll try Paranoid and Holy Diver. I knew it would be hard to try thrash, that's why I've tried slow ones like Gods of Wrath. My guitar is a Les Paul Style Epiphone, I'm not sure if it's a good guitar or not I just know it cost around $350.
  7. Oh, I forgot about The Ultra-Violence, that's a good one.
  8. What are the best thrash instrumentals? My top 5 are: 1. To Live Is to Die- Metallica 2. Orion- Metallica 3. Merciless Onslaught- Metal Church 4. The Call of Ktulu- Metallica 5. Into the Lungs of Hell- Megadeth I also like Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth) by Metallica, and Obituary and Attack of the Iguana by Hallows Eve. There are a bunch I can't think of right now, but these are my favorites.
  9. Yeah I can see where you're coming from, currently I'm working really hard on Gods of Wrath, but I'd like to see if I should change to an even more promising song.
  10. I've gotten used to the vocals of bands I used to not like such as Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, Venom (I now think those vocals are great), Vio-Lence, and even Overkill who are now in my top 10 favorite thrash bands
  11. Thanks, I'll check them out sometime. I've heard the likes of many of them, but can't remember what they sound like. Vocals always seem to get me because I often search for new thrash to look in to, but a lot of the time I come out empty handed because I don't like the voice. I also find a lot of good bands but forget to write them down which is a problem. I primarily listen to thrash and know a plethora of bands, but I usually listen to the same 20. I do download or buy albums that I remember are good, but only listen to them if I'm feeling like listening to something different. Half of the thrash albums I have are from the same bands, but I do try to expand my horizons by listening to Sanctuary, Xentrix, Defiance, Meliah Rage, SDI, Atrophy, Forced Entry, Hexen, Impact, and the pretty much unheard of Caligula.
