I'm starting to get into the New Wave of British Heavy Metal a bit. Here are some of my favorite albums:
Def Leppard - Pyromania
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Venom - Black Metal
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Saxon - Power & The Glory
Judas Priest - British Steel
Are there any albums I should check out that are similar to these?
I haven’t gotten around to listening to the other bebop albums yet, but Blues & Roots is a great album. It’s something how Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting sounded so wild and upbeat. I guess everyone at the meeting got off track and started telling funny stories or something.
I have a jazz thread on here called "Does anyone here like jazz music?". I'm not sure if you've seen it already or not. Some of the forum members discuss their favorite artists and albums on it. You might be interested in that.
Welcome to the forum, PastorJ. I am a Christian metalhead from the United States, so we couldn’t hang out or anything, but we could discuss Christian stuff or metal bands on here if you’re interested in doing that kind of stuff.
I just realized that I have listened to 59 metal albums since I started being a member on this forum 2 years ago. I would like to thank the people on here who have gave me suggestions and recommendations. My metal knowledge and collection has come a long way since 2016.
Just got some supplies for college today. I’ve also been running to stay in shape, which can be hard due to the cotton candy flavored Twinkies lying around the house.
Welcome to the forum, mate. I also like a little bit of Black Metal, such as Venom and Mayhem. Have you ever listened to the symphonic black metal band Gloomy Grim? If not, you should check them out.
