  7. I fucking love that record, it is slated more or less universally whenever it is mentioned but I fucking dug the shit out of it from day one. That is a terrible album, I know budget and production values play a part but c'mon.... So much win right here.

  10. Cause of Death and Eaten Back to Life were the first albums that got me into death metal. I had some friends in school who didn't like metal at all, but for some reason they liked Bolt Thrower's In Battle There Is No Law!

    Gates Of Death Metal

I don't know when (or even if) I got into "death metal". Apparently, I'd been listening to it without being aware of it. Earliest? Probably Death, Obituary or Morbid Angel. Or why not Cannibal Corpse? I remember the band name from before having even heard any of their music. At the time I was more "black" oriented. An album worth mentioning though, is Heartwork, by Carcass.

  14. Sunny here today, off walking later in the woods to collect sticks for my wreaths. Had a nice couple days off chilling, eating and listening to music.

    What's on your mind?

It’s 40 Celsius in Melbourne right now, so well over 100 Fahrenheit. Exotic Arabian heat and the enemy sun, I curse thee with mystical odes to snowfall and starlight.

    Rate the song above you!

I'm gonna have to give Monolord 9/10 ... because I fucking love that album. If I were forced to "sacrifice"most of what I've acquired over the last couple of years, the Monolord album would be among the last to go. Over to some Mexican proto-metal from way back in Aztec times.
