I've rescued quite a few birds in my time, and sadly the majority didn't make it. Magic when they do, though... I had a blackbird once that paid me a visit every day after I released her. Nothing quite like having a wild bird perched on your shoulder like you're a pirate or whatever Hope your dove will be ok, anyway ?

  13. I'm from Catalonia (Spain). A lot of great bands come here and I'm very pleased with that but Conan is not coming that often so I can go see them. The most similar experience I had was in a Yob concert they did 3 months ago. Everything was vibrating and the drums were really huge. They came with the black metal band Wiegedood and they were very loud and huge as well but nothing compared to Yob. Funfact: I had the opportunity to talk to Mike (the singer) at the end of the show and I was so nervous that I just shook his hand for like 10 seconds without saying a word hahahha. Then we took a photo but that was weird hahaha

  15. I was very reserved last night. After planning to end my lack of inclusion in this thread I had 2 Lager shandies and a pint of water and was in bed by 10.

  17. I really like it. Love some of those guest solos... Marty Friedman? Kevin Hufnagel? All win. I agree with you that it's not as immediately catchy. The songwriting and instrumentation are busier, more layered, a little more intricate. After a few listens, I think that's a good thing - it has a lot of replay value for me, it feels like the kind of album that will unfold over time, and it avoids being just a rehashing of the first one despite using the same palette. I'd initially wanted the debut to be more complex than it was, so I guess I got what I wanted this time around.

  19. What country is that Kilian? Geno’s is tiny and the bands are just at arms legenth if you’re right up front (if you are up in front you will be standing next to me). Conan was so bass heavy it was like being in a hot tub with water jets all over. Really massive vibrations. I think it wholesome and clears out lymph like some kind of heavy metal spa treatment. wholesome as long as you have some sort of ear protection.

  20. Howling Sycamore- Seven Pathways to Annihilation. Possibly not as immediate as the debut but it’s perfect for the train trip home. Really digging this. FA - thoughts? I’ve seen you list this numerous times in this thread. I think you’re the one in here who discovered this band?

  23. Lucky you man! hahaa. Conan is one of that bands I have to see before I die. But they don't come to my country that often so that's pretty sad

  24. Greetings, vocalist here in his mid 30´s with lots of experience within the genres of Black and Death Metal. I have my own home studio with a wide selection of mics and can record from there in good quality. I am interested in cooperating, session and doing studio work for projects aimed at release (digital and physical). I do everything from classic screms/growls to eerie chants and voices. Musically, I am looking for anything dark and extreme, preferably within the realm of Death/Black metal but ambient/experimental/dungeon is also interesting. I write my own lyrics, but maybe I am open to doing yours. Subjects of interest : Esoteric occultism // traditional satanism // adversarial and anti-religious topics. ( I am a practicing Satanist, adept to the black arts) Send me a PM and I can provide you with links to my past projects. Link your work and I will let you know if I am interested... Looking forward to doing some evil and vile cooperation ! All Hail !
