A subgenre for x-mas? How funny! :D

I don't like Nu-metal also... There may be people liking it, but itself gets me annoyed. My best example always is Rage Against the Machine. At first I could listen to Bulls on the Parade (<= Not really sure about the name of the song), but when I listened to Renegades of Funk... Man, it didn't feel like metal at all! There was a lack of something... I don't know, but I wasn't satisfied with it. I got tired pretty soon.

Hrmm... it's kinda strange, isn't it? I haven't heard a lot of Rob Zombie, anyways...

I've always had in mind, since I was 8, that I'd die at the age of 20 in a traffic accident... But, weh, right now I'd prefer to die a bit later, haha. (<= it won't be a long time until I turn 20, so let's hope that doesn't happen at all xD). But if I could choose... something quick, painless if possible. I guess it's the desirable thing, isn't it?

I think I have to disagree with you. For me, Noghtwish without Tarja wasn't the same. I respect Anette, but I think Nightwish was too much for her... I mean, I've heard her sing with Brother Firetribe and it was good, she fitted in there. But, goddamn, when she tried to cover Nightwish old songs... Woah, too much for me. Tarja was the voice, although she was conceited as hell; Anette had attitude, but, have you heard her live? It was a disaster! Tarja was, indeed, over with the group, but Anette brought a too big change to Nightwish. I haven't heard the whole Imagenaerum, but I've heard Dark Passion Play. I liekd a couple of songs, it was okei. But it wasn't as catchy for me. Not that I disliked it, but... something was left behind, dunno if you understand what I mean. And, by the way, Marco should sing more songs himself. While your lips are still red is fabulous!!

Oh, well, I think it’s okei to symbolize the beauty and sensuality by using women, there’s nothing wrong about it. Or at least I think so. But everything has a limit, you know… I have nothing against good-looking girls, neither against not-so-good-looking ones. But I think it’s kind of blameworthy to use nude girls to make metal videos… If you want to see naked girls, you can watch a porn film and everybody will be happy. Why does Satyricon put, for example, a girl playing with a snake around her tits? I don’t know, I don’t get the logic, and that wasn’t sexy for me. It was out of place, I think that the use of girls in that way is… comparable to the one which that terrible South-American music style I wish I had never heard make. They use women as objects… as pets… as… something just to “calm down the instincts” and nothing else. That’s frustrating, guys. Girls may be a nice view, but, hei, don’t use them as objects. But about that the women are the “evil” who corrupts men… Maybe that’s because men often think with the crotch. Hehe, it’s unavoidable! There’s nothing there to blame, but when women are smart and use that against them… well, women can be good manipulating. They’re better manipulating than men, or at least my experience says so… Men don’t usually make a world of a molehill. Women tend to make complicated deliberations about "maybes" and things like that. I always try to comprehend the world around me, and that's what people show to me day by day.

Today I’m gonna be doubly hated, haha. Okei, here it goes… First of all, I do not care if you hate a band very much or just a little, I think all you shoul show respect, a wonderful thing. This is a metalheads’ forum, not a forum to compete about who is the most rude or who throws more rubbish through their mouths. I do hate Kiss, and I don’t go to Kiss thread to say they are shit to me ‘cause that’s not what we are here to. Let’s be persons, not animals, please. Secondly, Slipknot is no Nu-Metal for me. I don’t know what they do, but I do like them as well. If you don’t like them and you think I should be killed for liking them, it’s your opinion, I don’t mind. As I’ve said a thousand times, I’m not good distinguishing the subgenres, but I don’t really like Nu-Metal (as Rage Against the Machine, they tire me easily), but these guys in fact are different. And I haven’t heard but one song from Korn, but I’m sure that they aren’t the same. PS: I am a Pantera’s fan too. And liking Slipknot and Pantera are compatible. I just hate when people insult bands who aren’t in their taste. Let us be! No one has asked you for liking them too!

Do not hate me, but I do like System of a Down. I don't know if they're metal or not, but indeed I like their songs. Metal or not, for me are good enough. And most of their lyrics are meaningful... except the ones from that Memerize thing.

Ow, ow, I think all af you should listen then to a spanish band called "Mägo de Oz". I discovered it thanks to someone, and the drummer is awful. He doesn't know how to play double bass at all... well, he's just bad at drumming. Or I think so...

En tiä if he's been said before, but... Although I love too many vocalists, my favourite 'cause his amazingly great techniques qhen it comes to singing is Jarkko Ahola. Dude, he's a genious I wish I could sing like him, haha.
