Yeah that's a good one. This year's release, In the Land of Ghosts, is among my top 3 black metal albums for the year so far. At least it was, I've discovered some pretty cool stuff more recently so it might be time to do some critical listening and rejigger the order. According to the blurb on Bandcamp the new one "steps away from Ireland and takes place in the land of ghosts...Scotland. "In the Land of Ghosts" is a collection of ghost stories and dark tales from a land bountiful of ghosts and ghouls. From the headless horseman of the House of Dun to the ghost soldiers still fighting in the wooded gorge of Killiecrankie."

Fantastic album! Tim Baker sounds just as good today as he did back in '81 on this album. It sounds like their newest album that was just released will be their final album, unfortunately. But, along with "Forever Black" (2020), I'd say they're going out on a high note! Fantastic choice! I'm enjoying this new album immensely! It's got all the trademarks of the classic era, but the improved production really makes the sound come alive even more.
