Pharmacist - Flourishing Extremities On Unspoiled Mental Grounds (Brutal death/Goregrind, Japan) As a disaffected death metal fan who hasn't been able to connect with much of the acclaimed new genre acts, this was the breath of fresh air that I direly needed. This is brutal death/goregrind/early Carcass worship grilled to perfection! I can't recommend this enough.

SEX PISTOLS - Nevermind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols GRIMTONE - Polaris

Returned home last night after a week away and I'm having a lazy Saturday just hanging around, drinking coffee and listening to music. Dropped some crust earlier, Agnosy and what not, now I'm checking out some new shit: Desecresy - Unveil in the Abyss, Finnish death, oh yeah this is fucking awesome. Sentient Horror - Rites of Gore, death metal from Stockholm, New Jersey. Competent, sounds good, but unexciting. Undeath - It's Time...to Rise From the Grave, more local east coast death metal out of Rochester NY. A bit better maybe. Could even be a purchase but I'm not quite sure yet, I'm only on the second track.

Mayhem - Live In Leipzig The snare sounds like complete ass, but Euro's guitar tone is good.

Aus-Rotten - The System Works For Them Finally found this on bandcamp. My first time hearing this since high school lol. This album is crust punk perfection.

Forbidden is definitely the correct word to describe it! It gets worse during the second half, dear lord. Tony Martin's vocals lack finesse. They sound weak on every song which is a crying shame. Ozzy had a booming voice that took control of each track, this is more power ballad than metal. There's one decent song (Shaking Off the Chains) but everything else is filler. A terrible album indeed. Not even Tommy Iommi could salvage it. As for St Anger, I found it to be garbage. Only lasted four songs before giving up, but you've convinced me to give it another shot. Surely it has good parts right?
