  1. I truth, I can't remember the last time there was a football roit as such over here. I mean, there is a LOT of loutish behaviour around World Cup time in which unfortunate country is hosting but in terms of roits they are a rarity. Poor old Ponting about that rhyme though !
  2. The obsessive complusive detective Adrian Monk's favourite band is "The Various Artists" lol.
  3. Jamie Oliver. I like both but Jamie has made more of a difference and hasn't lost his fortune down a swear-box. A cat or a dog?
  4. Yeah, that's daft, but I think the whole they move when you don't watch them thing is a good idea.
  5. Rating: That I just found out that the Falkland Island referendum went overwhelmingly in British favour. Slating: The the Argentine colonialists still put their lust for power over the wishes of a people . Also that little punk in North Korea.
  6. Sport can bring out something really nasty in humans - us at our worst .
  7. Oprah! Religious belief aside, The Pope has a whole lot to deal with. The straight forward work is heavy enough but then add in all the back-biting and politics which I think Benedict's resignation has rather confirmed exists and frankly I'd rather be a super-rich, super-influential person who is loved for the image they choose to protect rather than the hat plonked on my head. The owner of Amazon or the owner of Facebook?
  8. I love the April Rain album ! One of my faves!
  9. That's odd, I really don't get Dr. Who. I ususally just end up going "Oh perrrrrlease!" lol. For instance, I saw the return of the Daleks episode with Christopher Eccelston. What was that all about? Giving Daleks a whole new load of powers just to cover up for their obvious design faults was not cool and I just didn't by that "let's feel sorry for the lonely Dalek thing". And then there was the first Dalek episode with Matt Smith. Really funny Jammy Dodger joke aside, a lot of it was really daft. The British WWII stuff was heavy handed (the equivalent of me swanning about it tails all day talking about cricket before joining Lady Sondingmergely (pronounsed Songmer, dontcha know) on the lawn for afternoom tea were I attempt to court her ward with my gently witty word-play at the expense of urchins, foreigners and liberal politics) and the whole Spitfires in space smashed the rules of credulity. And the robot scientist bit was just unrealistic, he would have exploded. I guess I just find the storytelling for me heavy-handed and predictable.
  10. Hey, Easy Living is awesome but Bird of Prey is even better and the best is the mighty GYPSY!!!
  11. Rating: Food and the sun! Slating: The weather has been so cold for the last week or so that the farmers are suffering. In fact, slate the fact that farmers are not supported as they should be.
  12. 9/10! Pretty awesome stuff there! How about this one? M_fA5Zqkq24
  13. I SAY THEE NAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I always liked the idea of Star Trek more the actual experience.
  15. I adore deserts and baked goods ! Also pizza and chips.............................As for alchohol, I like wine, especially that of the Syrrah, Gruner Veltliner and Bacchus grapes!
  16. Slating: My lovelly cough. Argh, it's been going on for about a week now and is starting to get me down. Rating: At least my tonsils and palate are not affected. And I have my appetite.
  17. O.K. 1. Beiber: No. I don't get why everyone picks on him specifically though. I mean, sure, he's a bit of a smeghead and his music is beyond horrible but surely there are others out there just as bad? Anyway, I can't stand him and he sure isn't metal. 2. Slipknot. Yes. They are aggressive, solo-playing, heavy-riffers. Probably not the world's best metal, though, I'll admit. 3. Korn. Yes. I only like a few of their songs but I'd still call 'em metal. 4. P.O.D. Never heard of them, no idea ! 5. Avenged Sevenfold. No. I used to think that they were but in all honest, bar an arguable couple of songs, they are rock. 6. Linkin Park. Used to be. In the glory days I would say absolutely. However, they are now definately rock. 7. System of a Down. Don't know anything about them. 8. Godsmack. Yes. How can Godsmack not be considered metal! 9. Disturbed. Yes. One of my favourite bands, though as I remember they themselves don't really care about the title and tend to think of themselves more in terms of Hard Rock. I call 'em metal! 10. Rob Zombie. Dunno him! 11. Rammstein. Yes. I haven't heard a lot but I know it's metal.
  18. Homer Simpson ! I love Homer and, hillarious as I find Family Guy, I don't like Peter. WYRB Bart or Lisa?
  19. For me that was a great start before it just became generic metal - I've noticed that a lot of "Folk" metal bands do this :/.
