  1. "Arise My Lord..." - Judas Iscariot "To the Coming Age of Intolerance" - Judas Iscariot/Krieg
  2. I havn't spent much time with Judas Iscariot, but have heard very good things about the band. I will definitely check him out! I just looked him up, and it turns out that there will be a new Judas Iscariot album out in July.
  3. "Pesta Kommer" - Erebos My newest cd. Though it seems to have more in common with ambient music/dungeon synth than black metal, it is nevertheless immensely atmospheric. "Nacht" - Paysage d'Hiver I really have to be in the right mood to listen to Pd'H. Few can come close to the level of atmosphere in his music. "Wolf's Lair Abyss" - Mayhem A nice change of pace from the other two cds.
  4. I think that alphabetization would make a lot of sense. When I first joined the forum, the seemingly random order of the various genre forums was a bit confusing and disorienting. If it were to be better organized, it would not only be easier to navigate, but would also look more professional for prospective new members/lurkers - which might help to boost membership.
  5. 10/10 I liked the guitar tone and riffs a lot. The fact that the vocalist growled more than screamed added a lot to the song. I really need to listen to more grind. I have yet to find a band (other than Burzum, perhaps) that is able to match the atmosphere and ambiance of Paysage d'Hiver. Do you know of any other bands that are similar that you would recommend?
  6. I spent a good portion of my childhood reading books from my local library about ghosts from my local library. I used to watch lots of the ghost/monster hunter shows on tv as well. I am not sure what to believe anymore though. Technology makes it way too east to fake things like this - the fact that there are plenty of people wanting attention/money does not help either.
  7. Any particular reason why? I am looking forward to next week as well, as my spring semester at college is now finished. Finally some time off!
  8. 7/10 Nice guitar tone and riffs. The heavy distortion and grinding riffs make it sound almost like noise music. I don't care for the vocals too much - I would have greatly preferred for the singer to be growling rather than mostly just yelling. Short, but very good. Forgive me if I am mistaken, but was that song grindcore?
  9. 'Nacht" - Paysage d'Hiver "The Winter Silence" - Remete
  10. "Pesta Kommer" - Erebos "Wolf's Lair Abyss" - Mayhem "Ballade cuntre lo Anemi francor" - Peste Noire
  11. I just finished writing my final paper for my philosophy class, and am glad to have at least one of my classes finished. Three more finals to go!
  12. "The Work Which Transforms God" - Blut Aus Nord
