I’ve been rocking solo a bit lately while the family from hell is down the coast, so my diet has been less than healthy to say the least. 
Fried food, alcohol and black metal to be specific.
I’ve even started to deep fry my alcohol and black metal, which can also apparently be done in fish n chip shops in Scotland.

So already there are 5 albums that are immediate purchases for me. So good. Hail 2020. 

Since my last post we’ve had Burzum, Mayhem, Carcass, Judas Priest and King Diamond played in the pub. 
This is a public bar, front room, on a Thursday afternoon I’m talking about. What an amazing place.
I just want to hang out here to listen to music, let alone drink.
 
 

I never heard any Devilment demos from before Dani was involved, but I own both full lengths and really like them, especially the latest (and I guess last now that they’ve imploded) ‘Mephisto Waltzes’. 
But yeah, ‘Hammer of the Witches’ and ‘Cryptoriana’ are definitely worth checking out. 

Having nothing better to do I went to the youtube clip of you hilariously humming that riff.

Most of these posts look like they're coming from phoney accounts. They all seem to have the same style of username, they only post once in garbled English, then are gone. There's something sinister about all of this...

I can finally share this piece I did last summer for the upcoming Afterbirth album, "Four-Dimensional Flesh":
 

It isn't bad but I prefer the original. Dani's enunciation is the biggest surprise to me. That, and me hearing some sounds that I barely knew were there. The guitars and drums sound fine but at the cost of atmosphere. The keyboards take a backseat and Sarah's parts lose all hypnotic charm.
No, the Countess wouldn't be pleased with this. This blood bath was best kept virginal.

Yeah, there’s a keyboard-based intro called ‘Intro (Choir of the Damned)’.
I just assumed that it was on the original edition too because the liner notes in the re-release explain its composition at the time and what they were going for. 
Mille’s explanations of each track are really interesting. I’ve never been a Kreator fan previously, despite general respect for their legacy, but this package is fascinating and well put together.

Lol! He's talking about a rather new promotion, All Elite Wrestling. It's mostly based around a faction called "The Elite". There's a strong emphasis on high-risk, fast-paced in ring work, with lots of dives and crazy moves. It's also a lot less scripted than a WWE show, so the wrestlers actually talk like real people for the most part haha. You can find a good amount of clips on Youtube, if you're interested.

Actually the last time I smoked weed was in Amsterdam too. From memory my wife and I bought a couple of cheap joints to smoke in the cafe there, and man were they cheap. They were burning the back of my throat with each toke, and I semi-smoke cigarettes so I'm used to the smoke idea. Anyway, it sucked. I guess I shouldn't have been such a cheap skate. 
Good news is that's where we came up with the name of our future (now realistic) dog. Want to know the name we came up with? It's Spencer. Spencer. Perfect name for a chocolate labrador. Thanks Dutch weed. 
This was 11 years ago and that was the last time. Actually, I'm pretty sure weed is still illegal in Australia, so you can't get it anywhere that I visit, or from anyone that I know. I literally don't know where to find weed. I couldn't do it.

In other news I visited my parents’ place on Friday and my mother is convinced the fires are going to reach them, despite the Alfather and I telling her it’s practically impossible. There was rain while I was there too - hope it reached the fires.

Got a business and family to run, my own music projects and who knows what. Besides saving money atm on couple goodies i most certainly need. (E-Drumkit being one of them). ?

While I admire your enthusiasm, it seems you haven’t really read the forum for long, as the chances of another forum member being at the Uppsala show for Watain is, while not impossible, at least pretty unlikely given the size of active membership and the location of members. 
Good luck though if it works out. Damn, I’d love to be there, for sure. 

Hate Forest - 'Nietzscheism'
Freshly arrived in the mailbox. Re-release by Osmose. Beautiful digipak that includes in the booklet the covers and track listings of each EP and 7 inch that form the content of the compilation. This is true and unadulterated Hate Forest.
Not quite sure why Carl Orff's famous 'O Fortuna' launches things off, but it's always a good tune. Orff, by the way, must have rued the day he ever came up with that riff. I'm sure he probably wrote a heap of other great material, but it's 'O Fortuna' that seems to raise its head in commercials, Ozzy live shows and Hate Forest compilations.
