Hello! I have a project that I have been working on for the last decade or so. It's a Grindcore/Experimental project. The band is called The Patient Died Suddenly (xTPDSx). It's a 1-man-band. I have a Bandcamp account setup, just wanted to get some feedback. This project started off grindcore with a humorous lyrical side, but has now ended up as a "whatever I want" type thing. My latest EP was a mix of Sludgy Groove type metal, which turned out to be instrumental since I lack decent vocals (but I try). So yeah, constructive critiques are welcome! Spectral Wound - Terra Nullius The Album Terra Nullius is an unreal underground release on tape. The album varies in feel from Finnish Black Metal to post-rock groove-age. The production is pure black metal as well. It sounds like it was recorded in the pits of hell in Lucifer's home studio, gritty and fantastic yet clean and audable. My favorite track is "Winter Light", it is probably the least black metal feel on the album bit that slow strumming over full power chords really gets me. Between the recording quality and the adventure of dissonance and melody, between anger and beauty, this is a really kick ass tape. RUSTED EARTH https://rustedearth.bandcamp.com/releases This album is influenced by post-apocalyptic themes and musically, it is a mix of black metal, heavy metal, rock and maybe some post-metal. It’s a style that I love and have been listening to for around 20 years. For this release, I made a conscious decision to trim the fat. You’ll notice that the tracks are quite short for this style and that’s because I wanted to have no filler at all. Well at least I don’t think there is. A bit of a rundown for those looking for a quick listen. Silence - Medium to fast paced. Second half is faster. Outsider - The most rock influenced of all the tracks. Darkness - One of the slower tracks. Storm - By far the fastest track. Shards - Starts slowly, has a mid section that gradually builds and then comes the speed. Control - Generally mid paced, but with quite a few different sections. I’ve released the 6 track, 23 minute mini album/ep on bandcamp. I was planning on releasing a full length, but I’ve hurt my back and can’t play the guitar at the moment. I still plan on putting out a full length hopefully later this year. Hi everyone, I recently started up a solo black metal project after some weird biology homework I was given. We were told to choose a song and put our own lyrics over the top relating to a topic in biology, making a sort of cover. I, however, took it upon myself to create a black metal song the day before the due date. This made me realise the enjoyment I gain from creating music and now I have recently finished recording my first real song, with better things to come. I would highly appreciate some feedback, and anyone who is interested in hearing future developments feel free to follow me on soundcloud. Thank you. NOTE: I am aware that the drums are pretty quiet, something went wrong post-recording but I will prevent this from happening in the future. Also, apologies for the poor vocals, I'm no vocalist haha.
