Swedish Eternal Autumn is back with their first recording in 20 years! At the end of 1992, ETERNAL AUTUMN was formed. The intention of the band was to create brutal yet melodic music. Time went by, and after a couple of line-up changes, a few live appearances and a handful of releases in different formats, the band decided to quit in 2001. It was silent... until 21st of June 2019. ETERNAL AUTUMN returned to the metal scene with an EP with four new songs. It is still death metal with a strong heavy metal influence! I stumbled across these guys while on a Polish black metal kick last year. They quickly became one of my favorite bands. I mention them all the time, but they deserve a thread of their own. Their first album in particular is amazing: varied, passionate vocals, intense and organic-sounding drums, excellent riffs that recall early Ulver and Satyricon without being derivative, dynamic song structures that avoid easy moves and cliches. I think the production suits it perfectly, natural and gritty while still being clear and balanced. It's expansive but not in an epic way, dark, moody, and aggressive. Their last album was very different from this, and I have yet to hear a few of their recordings, but I highly recommend their first two full-lengths.

Láðspell is a two piece created to explore the darkest parts of human history and folklore. Their first song of their upcoming album is titled "Peshtigo".
