Forndom - Dauðra Dura ~ a gift from my gf for Xmas. She has this habit of purchasing amazing albums for me on vinyl for birthdays, Xmas etc and has once again hit the perfect vein here having heard me batter Wardruna she has been actively sourcing similar stuff and struck gold here. Deeply spiritual listening experience for me this Boxing Day.
Asphyx - Incoming Death ~ she managed it again with this one. Glad she avoided their latest as it was nowhere near as good as this from 2016. A marked difference in style from the first album and asked her how she even knew about Asphyx let alone that I liked them and she responded "I read reviews of this album and knew you would like it from how you talk about music." Genuinely choked me that she took the time to read reviews and also that she actually listens to me to me when I talk about music. She's a fucking keeper.

Well I'm sure it's gotta be dropping from somewhere. Albums don't just spring into existence out of nowhere. I'll bet they probably conspired to go into a studio somewhere without telling anyone and recorded it on the sly.
In all seriousness though Hekatomb was the first one of theirs that grabbed me, so I'll be interested to see where they go from there. Hate the name Hekatomb though, I just can't resist putting a T in right after the K, in my head I say it "Hektatomb." Think I'll join you Shifty.

Hey Marko - What Focals do you have?
FWIW, I have a set of Focal floor standing speakers in my loungeroom paired with the Naim Uniti set-up.
Sound cancelling-wise I've got the Bose Quiet Comfort 35II and Sony WH-1000xm4 and I prefer the Sony.
Right on! I have the Sony MDR-XB700 and like you, have had them for 15 years. Absolutely love them to death. I'm using them right now!!
