Yard work playlist: Raven - All For One Macabre - Grim Reality It would have been longer if I wasn't cut short by dogs and kids that didn't want to take a nap. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
It does have onions and cilantro, usually tomatoes as well, but fish and shrimp are usually used over crab and lobster. It's all dowsed in citrus (lime/lemon), which chemically cooks the fish even though it's not actually exposed to heat. Damn tasty concoction. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
Wow, from melodeath to full on grindcore! It's been a while since I've put that one on, I usually reach for Symphonies of Sickness. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
The psychological/atmospheric stuff is the best for sure, slasher BS doesn't hold much appeal for me. The campy stuff can be pretty fun though. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
The Shining is brilliant, one of my favorite horror films. Kubrick was the master, he excelled at everything he tried, and horror was no different. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
In all seriousness though, the guy is famously pictured wearing a Napalm Death shirt, so Barney Greenway sent him a letter pleading with him to stop with his country's human rights violations. He said he knew he was a fan and had hoped that he would listen, but I'm not sure if he ever did. Either way, at least he's trying to use his influence for something positive. Welcome. DSBM is hit or miss for me as well, but I quite enjoy Leviathan from your state, and a few of the older pioneering acts like Forgotten Woods, Bethlehem, Abyssic Hate, Shining, and Forgotten Tomb. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
Have you tried The Spectre within? It's my favorite from the band and John Arch, and is one of the best metal albums of the 80's. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
It took over a year before I wasn't thinking about that performance all the time, so it may stick with you for a while too. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
I can't say that my preferences totally align with his, but I found some good stuff that I hadn't heard before on that top 100 list. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk That does sound cool. Rainer has a sterling track record as far as I'm concerned, so this should interesting. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
That is a really good album. That bestblackmetalalbums.com dude that used to post here turned me on to it. I can't think of many other black/Viking metal albums that have that kind of underwater/aquatic type of sound. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
