  1. The @GoatmasterGeneral killing it with that Thy Feeble Saviour and Black Witchery. I've got to check out those other 2. Haven't heard of either. Rahu - S/T
  2. Really isn't bad, just doesn't do anything. Great for sleeping or something.
  3. Ok, that BI put me to sleep. Time for a jolt to get me back to firing on all cylinders. Recluse - The Black Famine
  4. Alright, going to give this a go. I'm at work, so maybe a little ambient will do me some good. Blood Incantation - Timewave Zero
  5. Mortiferum - Preserved in Torment
  6. Terror Cross - From Hell Deathhammer - Electric Warfare
  7. Yeah, was there. It was at Soundstage. A bit of overreach by the hired security if you ask me, but they were probably just trained to look for certain things. Funny thing is that guy had probably been in and out of there half a dozen times before they spotted the patch. Goatmoon is pretty questionable, but I think more than a few people who listen to them have no idea they're nazi-sympathizing fascist assholes. Never had any issues at MDF. People are always super chill. Definitely one of the better run festivals I've been to.
  8. Bandcamp rampage over. TROB still going, but I'm out of bourbon. Time for a refill. Next up: Escotrilihum - The Telluric Ashes of the Ö Vrth Immemorial Gods Cyptospital - The Epitome of Despair svrm - Червів майбутня здобич Mork - Pesta
  9. TROB - The Foulest Semen of Sheltered Elite - whilst I go on a bandcamp rampage ....and having a glass of Eagle Rare
  10. Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
  11. That's crazy. Can't imagine doing any of those procedures fully awake.
  12. Yeah, they were pretty clear in all their social media posts before release. Lots of advance preview of the album on socials too. Not sure what anyone was expecting. I got hyped when I saw they were planning a new release, but as soon as I read the post, I realized what was coming. They are planning a regular DM release later this year (Fall iirc).
  13. IF Blood Incantation can contain all the ambient nonsense to a separate release and leave it off their other DM focused albums, more power to them. Easier to skip the dull parts and focus on the good stuff. Blasphemy - Gods of War Sodom - M-16
  14. And woe to any 3rd world shithole that has them in abundance...
  15. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
  16. We are due a full analysis... Seems we are entering the logical progression of the last few years. Was only a matter of time before one of these knucklefucks took the next step whether it was Russia with one of their previous vassals, China with Taiwan, Pakistan and India, Right vs. Left in the States, etc. I think nuclear conflict is still a low possibility, but massive loss of life , misery, and economic ruin is much more likely than it was last week. I just don't see the gain here though. Gain territory from people who hate you at the cost of your economy and suffering of your people. Makes no sense. I would think that the oligarchs would suffer enough financially that they would exert the appropriate pressure to prevent what is happening now, but what the hell do I know? Anyway, I agree with you 100%. This is why our dark lord created metal. Nothing else satisfies the weary anxious soul quite like it.
  17. Considering what's going on in the world, a little Bolt Thrower seems appropriate today. Bolt Thrower - In Battle There is no Law Bolt Thrower - Warmaster Bolt Thrower - Realm of Chaos Bolt Thrower - For Victory
  18. COVID is over dude. Doesn't she know. I saw it on TikTok so it's true 😆
  19. I was looking at the lineup last night. I'll probably camp out at the Edison lot save for a band here and there. Still quite a few bands on the bill I want to see. Plus, 5 days with the boys and I can possibly hook up with @GoatmasterGeneraland @SurgicalBrute. Maybe even @markm if we can drag him out.
  20. Cikada - Lamplighter Mehenet - Ng'ambu Mortiferum - Preserved in Torment
  21. I really liked that Screaming Trees song on the Singles soundtrack, but I admit I don't think I've heard anything else from them. They're widely acclaimed as one of the best grunge acts however along with Mudhoney.
  22. Well if it's any consolation to you chaps, I had to drive 3.5 hours one way for this one and will have to pull an all nighter tomorrow to get a little work in. Worth it. We don't get many shows where I live, so New Orleans is the closest that regularly gets decent stuff. Lineup has changed a few times up until showtime, but so far it's Cickada (local sludgy grind ore which was badass), Congealed Snotrocket or some modern DM shit, Mehenet - local indigenous inspired bm, Imperial Triumphant, Mortiferum. Tiny little dive bar in midtown with amazing fucking cheeseburgers. 10 out of 10, would do it again.
