Always a fun listen. I especially like the part in "Open Face Surgery" when Lord Worm says "MUOY OI MAH AH OOM OH DAH AHGAH!!"

It was the 2009 release from My Graveyard that I got as a gift. It also includes stuff from the Blood and Honour demo.

It's funny, I'm having a similar experience. If the same album had been put out by anyone other than ATG I might not be so critical of its flaws, but at the same time I might not feel compelled to put any energy into listening to it.

Enthrone Darkness Triumphant sucked IMO. I remember the hype (and ensuing disappointment on my part) when it came out. I remember enjoying Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia more, but it's been so long since I put it on that I can't really speak for it. The original recording of Stormblast is my favorite of theirs, but those fairy-castle-magic-unicorn keyboards figure prominently.

This leg of the trip started in the early evening, and the drive through MA was all deep green foliage and light mist making the hills recede. Once night fell, as I got closer to the city, it became purple clouds and heat lightning. It  was a frequently perfect matching of music and visuals. One of the nicest drives I've taken.

The best that can be said of this drive is that it was quick and uneventful.
Also I made my friends listen to Crimson Glory, Blind Guardian, Lethal, Holy Moses, Running Wild, Demilich, and Hedningarna last night while we were drinking. They were good sports about the whole thing.
