General you should copyright* that last paragraph in case Hallmark tries to steal it for a card! I am with you - usually just waiting until the holiday season is over and trying to hunker down at home as much as possible until it is. After about age 19 I have worked many more holidays than not. Then I realized that I prefer to work holidays because people generally sympathize or its quiet because most people aren't working. My favorite story comes from my wife who is a flight attendant and on Christmas she invariably gets passengers who say "I can't believe they have you guys working on Christmas!", you know as if they would just be flying around empty planes if no passengers decided to travel. But for all the Satanism and misanthropy I am usually overcome by a few moments of grace and charity during 'the season'. Whether its nostalgia, deeply repressed guilt or just human empathy it is always nice to be overwhelmed, if only for a moment, by a sense of gratitude and generosity and peace, which is what I wish for the world, and I express it through random acts of kindness and giving when I can. And by generally trying not to be a complete asshole.

TBH I had forgotten about that Ruins of Beverast until I saw it on here. Not that it isn't great stuff, but more subdued and underwhelming from what I remember of it. Surprised it made the cut. Maybe a 'credibility' pick.

I am guessing this was before you moved to Florida? I bet if you cam back for a SD winter you would need a parka. It gets pretty cold here - 50's at night. Hoodies are the best wardrobe item because they can go with shorts or pants, built in head coverage. But for me its got to be 1 solid color. I will occasionally wear my AKHYLS hoodie but its definitely a different vibe.

Nekromantheon is a favorite of mine nice pick up! Also, I have exactly 1 metal hoodie and a random collection of shirts. Its just about hoodie weather in San Diego now but really can't justify buying more for what they cost. I'm with Thatguy the wife is about to draw the line with merch, with the exception of going to shows that is. A.S.M. playing next weekend so who knows i might end up with another hoodie but minimum another tshirt.

Depravity (Poland) - End of Games They call this tech black/death but there is a lot more to it than that. Should pass for pretty original in this day and age, and its really good too.

Whoredom Rife is good but just not enough. I recon my tastes have moved on from this style for now.
