Ha! This figures. I was just thinking the other day that Altarage is clearly going in the wrong direction. Maybe I'll give it another spin and verify my unworthiness for the umpteenth time. So I wait all month for BC Friday with this ridiculous expectation that I will be able to take time and sort through my wishlist for stuff that actually warrants purchase, the month rolls by, and its Friday afternoon after a hectic day, wife is waiting for our dinner date, and I frantically throw a bunch of mostly random stuff in my cart and hit purchase. Wow. You are exceptionally talented in technique and composition. Thematically this is obviously challenging stuff, not going to appeal to some. But holy sh*t...you are really good. Never doubt that. Get out there and self-promote man, the world needs all kinds of visionaries and you may be surprised by the demand. That's the only way to connect to people - you never know what your visions will mean to someone out there. You should receive things of value from the world in exchange, whether it be money or reputation...that's how you stay in balance. Don't just put everything out there and expect nothing in return. Will look for your tracks too. Man, all you truly talented people on these forums really humble us all! Thank you for doing what you do!

Read that a while back. Krakauer knows how to captivate with relatively well known topics. I am fascinated by cults and religion from a purely economic standpoint. Basically you can come up with an idea, essentially requiring no capital investment, and people are willing to exchange everything they own up to and including their actual lives for it. Market forces dictate that there will always be psychopaths and a bunch of moronic followers. Religion and cults makes the drug trade look pretty tame as far as risk, input and return on investment. So that reminds me guys, there's going to be a comet. Its really a UFO that will take us to heaven. Need to regroup for next Bandcamp Friday. Been a hectic year so far so I am not sure what is what. And I am pretty discombobulated looking for the right place to post things, I guess I'll start just coalescing around where I see people posting. Normally this would go into 'What are you listening to now' but I am digging Sutura - Clasta (2019) and looking forward to playing their new release Dawn of Cursed Souls next. Solid Brazilian Death/thrash with a little melody but not too much. Other issues causing me great angst: I don't know how Navy posted a link to his BC page and I am jealous. For that matter I cannot even get back to the part of my profile where I can edit my signature. Are we able to post youtube or BC embeds? Or just go by lists? I am going to be the kid in the back raising his hand with stupid questions for a while. But at least I will be throwing horns while my hand is up.
