Hello Frasier. Pentagram. Thanks for posting. I've heard of them but been to lazy to look them up.Its good with that Sabbath doom sound from what I heard so far.
Here's one for ya. Seed by nixa. From there opus tierra album. Very catchy.

WWE stopped the use of getting whacked by steel chairs in the head. Although that was more a decision to make it more suitable for younger fans but does prove things can change. Re rugby I can't remember speaking to anyone who wants the hits taken out of the sport.
Certainly in union I'd like to see all that lying on the ground sped up after a breakdown🥱 apparently once you've played the game or understand the rules you actually like all that. Could be true. When I used to play cricket I enjoyed test matches more. Now Ive stopped I struggle to watch test matches without 😴

Nice, TOR is not very known but is consistently bringing great releases to us. The one you mentioned is a good example.

My eldest daughter (in her 20's) would still look at that picture and tell me she wanted it on a t-shirt or something. The difference these days from when she as younger is that she'd go and draw it for herself.

Fuck me dead. That kind of price is insane. The price for an NRL game varies depending on which ground and which seats of course. Some of the most fun I've had at the footie though has been in the cheapest seats -  benches or stand up only - in suburban grounds of enemy teams. It's fun to bang up against the bozos and bogans that make up most of an NRL crowd and most are friendly past the expected banter. It's fun to hear the enemy supporters whinging about the refs, the coach and the bludgers on their team just like we do. At the end of the game the sherbets will be kicking in so you need to take care of who you tease if you value your font teeth.

A Westie is a bogan from the outer Western suburbs which are far from the hipster delights of the inner west, the gentrified grooviness of the eastern suburbs, or the entitled arseholery of the north shore (etc etc - there are more tribes than this in Sydney). We actually moved around quite a lot when I was a kid, but I spent my teenage years in a Housing Commission flat ( pubic housing apartment) in a shit hole suburb called Ermington. I was brought up by my widowed mother  - with an older brother -  and we were pretty poor. My mum had little education but she was smart and always reading and so my brother and I did to. My brother went to Uni to study architecture and so I went to Uni too, and - long story (and it is a long story) short - eventually ended up as a doctor, thank you Saint Gough for the window of free Uni education.
So, in summary, the guy in the photo is what I am not, but what I came from.

    Yes, but...
RU is paying some degree of attention, RL has its head up its arse. I am guilty of loving the sport but the big hits are part and parcel of the spectacle and for some men will be disastrous to their longer term well being. RL needed to set up a fund for research, and for compensation years ago but they didn't.

Ok so not much happening in Australia re this. In England the subject is not going away but again not much is happening. I would say things will change if there's enough of these stories and press and enough people want it. A big study might also push it too especially if it gets enough support.  Maybe some of the heavy hits will be outlawed and other parts of the game will come to fore and there will be more points scored. Maybe just maybe the team hug at the start will be as physical as it gets😂

Just ordered one of those sweet limited edition Mark Riddick longsleeves from Afterbirth. I might make it truly one of a kind by chopping the sleeves off, because I actually kinda hate longsleeves.

That guy think it was you who have mentioned that rugby union is a rich persons sport and league is for everyone else in Australia.  I googled why rugby is still working class sport in wales and read about the great rugby schism in great Britain when union split from league. It was all about money. Article was very interesting.  Tbh I always thought it strange that union was an amateur game until recently in England whilst top level football was professional.  And Wales kept on playing union in a big way as they liked beating  England who were weakened by the union and league split there. Beating England alot at rugby was something they liked alot. Lots of 🏆trophies I'm guessing for wales.

For st anger. Going in with no expectations helped. I switched it off on last track but I was amazed I got that far and enjoyed it overall even with those drums and it's bit repetitive. It's definitely worth another listen. Only one mind you. It was background music when I played it as I was doing some work. Maybe this helped.
I will have to hear this black Sabbath album. I've heard some others say they like his vocals. It's difficult to follow Ozzy, Dio, Ian gillen. All legendary imo.

It did work, but it wasn't really fit for purpose. It was a drunken idea that we took too far and once we started we couldn't let it beat us.
I don't mind the pink jacket and shirts. But the pink tools were a solid pitch towards getting more females into trades and it did work because plenty of women and now taking up all manner of trades and it's good to see.

There is a lot of myths around batteries and what makes them die prematurely and most of them are exactly that a myth. Most 'cheaper' ones can be a risk but with a little research and following a few simple steps you can be relatively sure about what you're getting. The first two basic steps are just because it's got a brand name on it doesn't mean it's great, and if it doesn't have a traceable name don't trust it there are plenty more choices out there.

Forbidden is definitely the correct word to describe it! It gets worse during the second half, dear lord. Tony Martin's vocals lack finesse. They sound weak on every song which is a crying shame. Ozzy had a booming voice that took control of each track, this is more power ballad than metal.
There's one decent song (Shaking Off the Chains) but everything else is filler. A terrible album indeed. Not even Tommy Iommi could salvage it.
As for St Anger, I found it to be garbage. Only lasted four songs before giving up, but you've convinced me to give it another shot. Surely it has good parts right?

I've seen some you tube videos before I bought the SDS drill and a few tradesmen said most of the power tools be they DeWalt/ Milwaukee/ Makita/ Ryobi etc are very similar. They recommended getting a minimum 18volt in the colour you like the best😉
Is that how you see it.
Have you ever joined tools together. My dad added a DeWalt belt sander power unit on to a black and decker belt sander belt unit for a bit of extra oomphh. Also he may have knackered the DeWalt belt sander section so thats another reason for this tool. It was a good tool though.

Milwaukee make the best power tools, bar none. Their cordless nailers are a godsend (this coming from a carpenter who uses these things everyday). Makita make some pretty good stuff, my reciprocator saw is a Makita and it's badass. DeWalt are a step down but serviceable, I like their mitre saws. Black and Decker are hot garbage.

blaaacdoommmmfan gave a Damn to AlSymerz in What's on your mind?
We've used Makita tools almost exclusively on the farms for years. In power tools the drop saw is relatively new because the old one threw a blade not long back and twisted the shaft and screwed the motor beyond viable repair. The circular saw is a 9 1/4 inch that's been around for about 10 years, the planer and thickness would be a similar age. In the battery range the drill drivers range from 2005 models to 2017, there is blowers, a grinder,an impact driver, a chainsaw,a hedge trimmer and a rivet gun.
When it comes to welding I'm old school I still have a Black and Decker arc welder which my father bought in about 1985. My brother has both TIG and MIG welders so I can afford to be old school. There is also a 200mm bench grinder that's so old the name wore off it. There's a Black and Decker Drill press, a Honda air compressor, a cheap GMC (I think) bandsaw and a wood lathe that's been in my family for 3 generations.
However if I had to pick a favourite it would be the Triton work table and it's accessories. They aren't the same these days because the Triton company went bust and was taken over, but their original work tables are brilliant. for woodorking large and small. I think the original table and accessories cost us about $3500 in the 80's but it was well worth it for all the jobs it does and all the tools it fits. I actually burnt the motor of the original Triton saw out about 3 years ago, but because they were made right any saw straight off the shelf locks straight in.
Actually I take that back, the most important tool in the shed is the potbelly stove in case it gets too cold in the winter

At least you have two parties. In the UK we only have 1 who wins most of the time(conservatives) No matter what they do they get voted in because the opposition parties(labour and lib dem) are so weak.  With the cost of living crisis I forsee two possibilities for us. 1 the government gets voted out which would be great☺️ 2 the same political party stays in power with the population turning against themselves as result of all the cuts to services the government makes and price rises 😞 maybe I'm just too pessimistic

I'd forgotten about that one. It's called forbidden for a reason. 😉 Hopefully it improves. Let me know how you like 2nd half of album
I listened other day to st anger by Mettalica with zero expectations and I must say I liked it alot more than I was expecting. It was bit repetitive and some songs a bit long but I liked the energy. I used to hate that album. Now I appreciate the energy which reminded me of there glory days of thrash. There were punk, groove metal, nu metal bits but I still liked it somewhat

Agreed I only buy an album once unless the remastered version is so fantastic I must get it. I will say this has never happened. But I don't want to say never
