  1. "Welcome to the Machine" - Pink Floyd Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  3. Good thread. I chose this song because it was my nephew to a "T". His name was Anthony and he was the life of the family. He loved this song and basically lived his life under this basic premise. Anthony passed away in a car accident on September 7th, 2008. I got to meet Chris Cagle a few years later and told him about how this impacted our family. He signed a picture to my sister-in-law in memory of Anthony. Not a day goes by that we don't miss him. 4. Man, Raing Blood totally slipped my mind. Hands down one of the best closers, both on the album and live. First time I saw them on the Seasons tour they closed with Blood. True MLR was not Floyd's best but "Learning to Fly" is the song that got me hooked so that album is pretty close to me. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Not metal but my favorite album closer is "Sorrow" on Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason album. I listen to that whole album just waiting to hear that distorted guitar intro. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. Really thought KSE had a solid close with the Holy Diver cover on Daylight. Even though I am not a big fan of covers, this one is solid and great ending to my favorite Killswitch album. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Currently in my top rotation - Maiden Slayer Killswitch Devil You Know/Light the Torch Floyd Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk That's a solid lineup. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. Got to see Avatar last year at Kattfest in OKC. Didn't know anything about them. I was pleasantly surprised. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Gotcha. Just never heard that term. Personally I really don't care for so-called "sub genres" just metal/hard rock etc........ Rock on and happy head banging [emoji869][emoji869][emoji869] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. What the heck is "mallcore"? It's all metal/hard rock to me. Been listing to this stuff since '84 so yeah, I like that list and the "Big 4" Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. That's a pretty solid list. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. Currently 1. Maiden 2. Korn 3. Pink Floyd 4. Slayer 5. Testament Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. I agree to a point. I could have done without Empire (even though I know a lot of people who think that is the best song). Tears of a Clown and Death or Glory should have been on disc one and River and Unknown moved to disc 2. Disc one could have been the "regular release" and disc 2 included in a "special edition". I would rank the songs as such; 1. Eternity 2. Clown 3. BOS 4. Death 5. Speed 6. Red & Black 7. Unknown 8. River 9. Sorrows 10. Valley 11. Empire It is still one of my favs in the post-reunion era of Maiden along with Brave New World. Powerslave will still always be #1 on my list. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
