When I have it on cd, I can listen to it on my laptop, my car, the living room and the bed room. I don't need an mp3 of thesame stuff I already own to use it on my laptop. That's also why I think my last.fm is not a really good reflection of my all-time favorite bands. (well, it is in some way)

The band okay. I own Ashes of the Wake. I actually like the self titled song and Laid to Rest and the last song... Remorse if for the Dead I believe. But it's some of the fans who think they're gods. Just see how this thread started with one of those fan boys.

In the stores cds are too expensive. I only buy them on gigs and festivals really. Maybe the internet was a bad thing for the music industrie, but to me it's the prices. Beer is expensive around here, but if you want to buy a cd in a big music store, I have to choose between that or 10 beers in a bar.

Bacause quite a lot of people rate them highly, eventhough I think they are a so-so mainstream band.

I have on 3" disc, but you can play them also in quite some cd players.Are here people who decide to pay for mp3s btw? I have over 1000 bands on my computer without paying for it (I delete all the mp3s of all the cds and records I own). So I guess if I used Itunes, I would have payed a lot of money for it, if I could find the stuff in the first place.So why are there people paying for digital files that are all over the internet?

Yes, even new Napalm Death is good. They even did some clean vocals right? Okay, fair enough, Nails is powerviolence. In that case, Carcass and General Surgery are goregrind haha. I really like those two bands and Terrorize and Repulsion too ofcourse! Rotten Sound is good too, but I never really got into Brutal Truth. Heard their early stuff once or twice but that's it.

It's crazy how diverse death metal is. Even all the metal sounds thesame for most people, but we clearly have different tastes within a subgenre.

And to be fair, death 'n' roll doesn't have a high priority compared to the other genres hehe.

Meh, Dirty Jobs is okay. The dude is badass doing all that stuff. I've seen something similar too, but in that show, the guy was afraid of everything. I believe it was a dutch show haha. Never really liked Law and Order... Not enough psychos (except for the lawyers). Castle is funny. But to me, Criminal Minds is one of the more serious attempts to actually show how the FBI works without all the high tech stuff from all the CSI stuff etc. Now watching Apocalypse: WWII. Interesting stuff. Whether you support him or not, he was a genius.

New stuff? Really? Cool! I always saw them as just a demo band. Interesting stuff, but nothing more really.

I prefer CDs because I listen them on the stereo, in my laptop and in my car. Records are just really cool, but I can only listen them in one room. Mp3s are only for my laptop and those are the only ones I choose not to pay money for.

I want to keep forums and facebook seperated.

I have my bass in standard E and my guitar in Eb. I used to do dropped tunings, but not anymore. Also dislike a lot of bands who play in dropped tunings. (metalcore, groove metal and such)

Not sure. I live next to Belgium so you would expect we got all the types of those beers, but that's not always the case. I've been to Paris a few months ago and I had some special beers from a local brewery which I didn't even know existed! Never seen it before in the Netherlands.

Somehow that's one of the first things people know about me... People refer me as the drinking dutchman, crazy dutch guy and the walking metal encyclopedia.
