  1. So seeing them in this forum is actually quite surprising. And it's not because I want to bring them down. If someone opened a topic of Simon & Garfunkel, Seal or Creedence Clearwater Revival, I would still find it weird. (yes, I know, they never released two albums that are partially influenced by nu metal bands, but I'm trying to prove a point here)
  2. Yes, keep telling that to all the female fans. And just take a look at EVERY bandphoto. The chick is in front of the band. Those girls are like Britney Spears of metal, dying for attention.
  3. But to answer the question what music they play: rap rock would be the genre to define their whole career. Some albums have been more slightly towards nu metal, and the new albums are just pop rock. edit: here's a usefull site which I use very often to see what genre every album is: https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/linkin_park
  4. The fact they say that the female is the most important member of the band is very unmetal. Metal is about the music and not about the looks of the female vocalist like in pop music. (nightwish, within temptation, epica, bands like that.)
  5. The gig was awesome. Maniac Forces was awesome, aggressive and funny too with their crossover thrash. Great musicians too. Villainy was great again as well. I didn't know 1 song so I suppose that's a new one for the upcoming EP they will be recording this year.
  6. Welcome, what are your favorite genres to listen to?
  7. Don't want to think that hard right now, but I think Human Rejection from Greece is great! Welcome. Been once to Greece btw. 3 Days or so in Patras, Athens and Thessaloniki.
  8. My favorite Linkin Park song would probably be their shortest. Probably an intro or something haha. But seriously I know only two songs I think. In the End and One Step Closer.
  9. Welcome, does that mean you speak with a dialect of dutch?
  10. MFKR is with the old vocalist indeed. George apperantly. I Actually like that jazz fusion song. But they used quite some songs from MFKR. Killers Are Quiet is later released as Iowa. Gently as Gently. Only One as Only One. Slipknot as (Sic) . Tattered and Torn as Tattered and Torn.
  11. Drunk at the party tent at Party San Open Air with my toy guitar.
  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mur98_CbjZs It's the first full length of Slipknot before Corey Tailor did the vocals.

  14. Yeah, the two percussionists (Pinoccio and the clown) have a small part in some songs and nobody knows what pinhead have been doing the whole time. Anyone likes Mate Feed Kill Repeat? I like the songs Gently and Confessions very much on that album.
  15. Decent band. Never really got into them. If they would have happen to play on a festival I'm going to and no other interesting bands are playing there, I would go and see them. (small chance on the festival I go to haha)
  16. Cool band. My favorite song is Masked Jackal. They did a reunion a while ago right? I've seen them on Hellfest which was really cool. My collegues went to see Mayhem... Walked away and went to another stage and I saw Coroner was playing there. Great surprise!
  17. I'm pretty sure you could find excellent rips of those cds as well, but I see what you mean.
