Ever feel like you have reached your breaking point, but the people around you don't seem to take it too seriously because of your personality/overall outlook on life? I am going into month 4 of unemployment and I am a very positive person and always look on the bright side, but after months of hearing no or nothing at all I am being worn down. Yet if I start saying anything negative people ask me of I'm still on my meds or try and tell me to try harder. It is frustrating and definitely not where I thought I would be at this point in my life. Anyone else ever go through this? Sent from my LG-E971 using Tapatalk

They don't quote rap lyrics when someone who listens to it goes on a shooting spree. They don't quote that someone listened to that blurred lines song days before raping someone. Domestic abuse makes me sick. I was on the receiving end during a 2 year relationship. People who abuse are cowards and have no control over their own lives. They have no spine and are vile animals not worthy of the air they breathe. I think penalties for abusers should be much more severe than they are. This thread has really gone off on a tangent... A poser pretends to change who they are in order to pretend they have the same interests I believe many do so because they want to rebel, but have no outlet. Given that us metal heads are pretty rad people, we embrace new friends, metal listeners or not. Humans want to emulate and belong. Posers change because they have no other way to feel accepted - even if they already are accepted by the people they are around. To dress and join in topical conversations about bands by often paraphrasing what they have heard from others on separate occasions makes them think they are pulling the wool over the eyes of those they are posing to be with. Re: What's on your mind? I do too, which is good for me as a Canadian. Our winter was just a bit too long, though. I grow my own veggies and this snow is threatening quite a few of my plants.
