Hello to my fellow metalheads from a proud headbanger in Australia. A little about me: I play guitar, have been playing for three years, I have two guitars, an Epiphone Les Paul, which doesn't see much use at the moment, and a Dean ML with EMG active pickups, I run a Peavey amp but can't remember the specific model. I play mostly the old stuff, Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, and some thrash The band that first got me into metal was Metallica, and i would love to say that the song was Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightning but sadly it was actually St. Anger. I know not exactly good form in the world of metal right? anyway currently my fave bands are: Dio, Megadeth and Pantera

Re: SHRED IT!! I'm big on solos, really work scales and arpeggios, use hammer ons and pull offs a lot, use bends and slides to transition into new sequences, play at probably a medium to fast pace

Re: Who is the best out of the big 4 ??? Megadeth, Dave Mustaine is a genius on guitar and i really dig the lyrical content of their songs "Fools like me, who cross the sea, and come to foreign lands, ask the sheep for their beliefs do you kill on God's command?"
