Was actually really enjoying this until those cleans hit during the third track. It's strange because I think toward the end of the song the clean singing comes back with what sounds like a doubled up track or some harsh backing vocals underneath that made the nasal cleans way more tolerable. I don't know why they didn't do that throughout.

like i said in the post about the big 4, i acknowledge that megadeth has more talent. but, i prefer metallica because i think they structured their songs alot better. i am just talking about '80s to early '90s metallica, because i don't care for the stuff that followed black album. anyways, metallica's riff to solo ratio is better than megadeth's in my opinion. a lot of megadeth songs in my opinion have too many solos and the solos are too long as well. a lot of megadeth tunes feel like a dave mustaine ego trip

No, I hate to burst your fantasy bubble but black metal has a different sartorial sensibility. We do bullet belts, spiked gauntlets and our jack boots aren't fuzzy. I'm partial to Doc Marten Wellies myself. If black metal had our own version of Manowar they'd look more like this. Which I agree is more cringe than even Manowar on their most homo-erotic day ever. But thankfuly a bit less oily.

Black metal trumps all. Heretics and non-believers can expect to spend an eternity in black metal hell. Nothing but black metal for all eternity until you submit. (become a black metal believer) I would say 24/7 day in and day out but there are no days in black metal hell, just eons, so scoff at your own risk. Stoner hell could be better, or worse depending how you look at it. They're all high as fuck for eons on end until they don't know who or what or where they are anymore or how or why they got there. 

this meme hits heavy for me. i live in the hipster ridden twin cities and almost every metal band in the local metal scene is stoner metal. there's a few good black, thrash and death metal bands here, but it's mostly that trendy ass stoner shit. it's ironic how hipsters claim to be anti-mainstream, yet they're very much part of mainstream culture (atleast these days) fucking hipsters!!! 😤

Wow, I've never been into anything trendy. I feel like I've achieved something now.
Now to achieve hipster status and my life is complete.

That's not true. There are about 6 weeks every summer when it's death metal season.

The older I get the easier it is to forget that a bands location is just that and nothing more. True you can group certain specific scenes and sounds to some specific geographic regions and time periods, but it's ultimately only useful as a point of origin. Slam death out of Vatican city? Sure thing. Technical grindcore rockabilly from the Yukon? Bring it on. Then for some reason I stumble onto a black metal band from West Virginia and I'm somehow surprised.
