  1. Sweet Of Feather and Bone shirt here, but they are all out of Large. Not going to be happy with M or XL but its tempting.
  2. Definitely not a problem...I will be lucky to get a list out before February at this rate!
  3. Thanks, that is the craziest thing I have read in quite some time.
  4. New Rudra! One of those astoundingly good metal bands that no one has ever heard of. You could write a thesis on these guys. Eight Mahavidyas | RUDRA | Awakening Records (bandcamp.com)
  5. What does your therapist think about this?
  6. Just getting around to this. Vocals are a bit of a turn-off, but holy goats, those riffs man.
  7. Nice little NYP gem here: Deplore The Vanity | LABYRINTH ENTRANCE | 𝔊𝔬𝔡𝔷 𝔒𝔳 𝔚𝔞𝔯 𝔓𝔯𝔬𝔡𝔲𝔠𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫𝔰 (bandcamp.com)
  8. Live Wire, Piece of your Action, Shout at the Devil, Looks that Kill, Knock em' Dead Kid, 10 Seconds to Love, Home Sweet Home, Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.), Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) are all great hard rock songs imo. Once in a blue moon I don't mind hearing Wild Side or Girls, Girls, Girls. Mick Mars has always been an underrated guitarist. Vince Neil is a pig but had world class pipes and could write some great lyrics at his best. "If you wanna live life on your own terms/ you gotta be willing to crash and burn!" Great line. That time someone tried to remove his headband
  9. I do love me some Polish black death. DEVILPRIEST - "In Repugnant Adoration" | Odium Records (bandcamp.com)
  10. If the human species somehow manages to survive long enough we will all end up some brownish hue, probably mostly dark hair - an amalgamation of whatever genetic make-ups keep propagating. The sooner the better, imo. I find hang-ups about race in fantasy shows hilarious. Its...fantasy. If anything matters less in the world right now please share.
  11. Attention goat mafia, this one is worthy of your filthiest horns. Eschatology | Eschatology | Regain Records (bandcamp.com)
  12. Mardrömsmeditationer | Tusenårseken | Void in the Vast Empire (bandcamp.com) Slightly melodic/folksy black from Sweden. Coagula | Laere (bandcamp.com) German black with slightly dissonant deathy undertones
  13. I totally take credit for that. Great album and I definitely pomoted it. Barely even goat metal though, those guys were such softies. Or it might have been Necrowretch. Even better album, even less goaty.
  14. I saw it and took a pass. I've listened to them before and apparently it didn't make a strong enough impression. Let us know if it's worth a spin tho
  15. Re-joined Tidal and getting re-acquainted. Got a nice discount so it was too good to pass up. In 1 day the algorithm has already generated 2 kick ass playlists. MQA sounds great. Aside from some occasional streaming hiccups on my internet this is a really top-notch experience.
  16. Glad you enjoy the Dragonfly Red like I do Mark. I don't know anything about technicals but like you said it makes everything sound better, imo. And it is super portable and versatile. That being said I would not be tempted to spend more than that on a DAC/Amp. I think I am at the end of my recent spending spree. I probably could still return the Arias but I think they fit enough in my collection to be worthwhile. The problem with budget IEMs is the whole 'but what am I missing' voice, which is a sham I think, for me anyway. But those 7hz Zeros are freakin' awesome (trend neutral to a touch bright) and immediately made me question more expensive gear. There is a reason audiophile reviewers do not do blind ratings and comparisons, at least that I have seen anyway.
  17. Mezes are great. The audio version of a Snuggy, so comfortable and smooth in every way, without sacrificing any detail. These are really fucking great, tbh, no regrets on the purchase. Comfortable, and lighter than I thought they would be. Man these really sound good.
  18. Finally getting to Megadave - tStDatD Not bad as background work music, and certainly a lot better than one (me) might expect. Great clean production, attention to detail. Impeccable musicianship. Riffs, song structure and vocal melodies are all recycled. Basically put everything from The System Has Failed forward in a blender and you get this. As good/better and a little more even than Dystopia. At best this is metal comfort food for the old hungarino. Not going to get my pulse going, the occasional head bob. Its not going to distract me from whatever else I am doing. Good job Dave, you crazy old bastard.
  19. Metal AI needs more band practice
  20. Bestial Occult Ceremony | Blasphemaniac | Black Legion (bandcamp.com) One of the better D666 clones. They keep it filthy, fast and fun.
  21. I was comparing some iems then figured I would include a couple of hps and was surprised at the initial drop off of detail and depth when switching to hps until I adjusted correctly for power/volume. iems and hps are definitely different animals, to state the obvious. Of course then I got to playing with the iem tips, another rabbit hole, and am finding that the silicon actually irritate less than the foam. This after going through all kinds of different foams to find the best. I will end up with about a zillion of each, but at least they are cheap and most came free with the iems. My final humbling experience of the morning was nearly returning my new Moondrop Arias (on sale for $61) because the $15 pair of 7hz Zeros sound freakin' amazing. I know a lot of people probably eschew budget iems, but to my ears these things really sparkle and shine, so much that I questioned why I should keep the Arias. I finally convinced myself that the different signatures for different kinds of music justify keeping them. Now I just have to be sure to include hps more in the rotation otherwise they are just collecting dust.
  22. Moon of Foul Magics | Autonoesis (bandcamp.com)
  23. Wow, I am kind of the opposite I guess. I discovered IEMs about a year ago and can't get enough. I do keep the volume low and am pretty meticulous getting to right tips. Bluetooth is now just about in the hi-fi realm for audio quality right? Soon all our wired gear will be pointless, and there will be more must have things to buy. It never ends does it?
