I often get lost in psychedelic dreams when I listen to music...

Gonya for giving Nadja a red hot go, but there isn't much in their catalogue likely to appeal to a goat. I just checked and I have 18 of their albums - including live sets. It's the blurry drone atmospherics that gets me. There are riffs but they evolve very slowly. Mostly no vocals. Perhaps 'Belles Bêtes' would appeal as much as anything. I won't think less of you if you don't like them. My wife hates them.

Nadja don't generally seem weird to me - more warm and fuzzy, especially my favourite 'The Stone Is Not Hit By The Sun...'. This one seems weird because of the vocals, I think. NP - TARDIGRADA - Vom Bruch bis zur Freiheit. Excellent album by an excellent band. Also warm and fuzzy. I think they just keep getting better.

EMMA RUTH RUNDLE - On Dark Horses. Not metal at all but I think I get her now. MAXAMILLIANO KIRSZNER - Trama. Good jazz from Argentina. NP- ENRICO RAVA SPECIAL EDITION - The Tower Tapes #11. Excellent jazz from Italy. Four long live sets.

Just no. I never found him funny even back in the day when it was fresh. Yep, but I haven't seen the films for years and years. The comic strip was funny. Funnier in conception than execution. By that I mean the joke wears thin pretty quickly. He still makes me smile but for me it's a sketch rather than a longer form thing. You wouldn't give Uncle Arthur his own show either, but he makes you smile in small doses. But appreciation of humour is probably even more subjective than appreciation of music.

But that's $150 Americanos. Convert that to real dollars -$215 or so then allow for everything costing more here and it's about equivalent. I pay $250 or so a pair for trail runners. Currently QC Cloudtecs - very nice.

A good pair of runners makes being out and about so much better. My kiddies made me buy good shoes when I started running 15 or so years ago. As with most things they have insisted I do differently, they were right.

And I just looked it up too. And fair enough. This is like something I wrote the other day. How you evaluate music depends on how you are feeling on the day and in how you feel in general. I agree CoL are consistent and I have still bought their albums up til now - I just haven't got much from the latest one. Will I go again? For my sins, probably. And I would love to see them live.

You poor little bugger. I still have all 4 of mine and they have never given me trouble. I intend taking them to the grave. I must have a big jaw which goes with a big head and a massive brain.😜
