  1. Brad Hull, fuck yes! Forced Entry kicks ass, he's an awesome guitarist. Now if only Warrell can pull his head far enough out of his own ass to write some fresh melodies.
  2. About fucking time! Disciples is where it's at, that was a cool track and I felt like the thrash elements were well integrated. Moon's Rapture took a bit too long to get going and didn't feel as cohesive. The last track, I really liked the last half of it - again I feel like it took a bit too long to get to the interesting parts. The doom riff in particular is heavy as shit, love that minor sixth goodness. The vocals sound great. I like how different the two guitars sound, and the drummer is pretty much on fire. That dude plays fast really well. It's a little too raw and loose to my ears, but I know you're into that sound. I dig it, overall, energetic and evil-sounding. If I was going to make any suggestion it would be to tighten up the songwriting, and not make so much out of some of the parts - there are some simple riffs, like at the end of Eat The Dead, that really shine, whereas some other riffs - like at the beginning of the same song - are a little too standard (as opposed to just being simple) and tend to drag the song down. That's my three cents, anyway. Cool stuff. Got any art in the works, or a logo?
  3. It started off with some innocuous graffiti...
  4. In best Star Trek tradition, I alter my trajectory to slingshot around the sun at warp speed, traveling backwards in time to prevent your parents from meeting. You are never born. My hill.
  5. You fall into your enormous signature pic and are lost forever. My hill.
  6. Preparatory to what, I can only imagine. Hopefully something to do with them not talking.
  7. Ritual Chamber - Pits Of Tentacled Screams cool, really dirty-sounding stuff, thanks Macabre! edit - No wonder this sounds cool and somewhat familiar; according to Metallum, it's a one man band from a guy who's played with Funebrarum, Evoken, and Drawn And Quartered, among others.
  8. I do love listening to music while I'm driving... but then it hurts the wife's ears, and I have to turn it down, and the car is noisy when we're on the highway, etc etc. Driving in the city is misery, an exercise in patience - like someone said about being a soldier: long periods of boredom punctuated with moments of extreme terror. Bicycling is probably my favorite way to get around. Even considering a bike trip down to Philly one of these days!
  9. I have to admit I've never been into cars. I've been driving on and off since I was 16, but I don't really enjoy it. My ideal car is something comfortable that I can fit a bunch of music gear into, that won't be too hard or expensive to maintain. One of my favorite things about living in NYC is not needing to drive. I like walking, riding my bike, etc.
  10. Nah, 4/10. Very much showcasing how they went downhill - lazy and cliched compared to their early stuff. fRs4PBXG-WM
  11. Wolverine, he's always been a favorite of mine. Violator (Spawn) or Mr Gone (The Maxx)?
  12. Cheers, welcome to the forum!
  13. North Pole, being home to a bunch of elves and presents sounds cool. The Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy?
  14. Time to pack it in and get yourself a nice Honda.
  15. I'll have to listen to that. Have you heard any of the Grave Miasma EPs? I'm still looking for those. Edit - actually, listening to Exalted Emanation now, sounds a lot like the album. Kick ass.
  16. Intronaut - Prehistoricisms I tried listening to the newest Intronaut and couldn't stand it, but this album is really good.
  17. My friend Matt is from Northern England, and it's hilarious to hear him try to do an American accent. Seems like generic Southern American accents are favored on British TV when they have to use a British actor to portray an American. I can only imagine how bad most of our fake British accents sound to you guys...
  18. Cloudkicker - Beacons I bet if this had vocals, I'd hate it, but the music is really good in its own right.
  19. I've got American friends who think my British friends sound pretentious and silly. I tend to agree, though I prefer Northern accents to Londonspeak. They don't help themselves by arguing over old chestnuts like the "u" in colour, either. (edit - this is not intended to apply to my dear Metal Forum friends, all of whom, I'm sure, are very well-spoken chaps who sound awesome in real life. ) My personal contempt is extended to the annoying rich-bitch French NYU students, though. They ruined French for me.
  20. Drawn and Quartered - Cyanide Sacrament This is good, thanks BAN! The vocals are pretty bland but the music is really cool, I love the sort of creepy lead melodies, nice dirty sound.
