Hey folks, just swinging by quickly to say hi. I'll be away for a while longer... not that it particularly matters... lots going on here. The little girl turned one last week, the young lad is turning eleven this weekend, and we've just agreed to relocate a couple hours farther north for a good job opportunity for my wife. I hate moving but it looks to be a better situation for all of us. Probably making it happen in late June. In the meantime I'm working on an illustration project and a couple of recording things which will probably be shared here at some point. Hope everyone is well, best wishes, and I'm off to continue my walk around the outer borders.

You describe it well. I've lived in a lot of different dwellings in a few towns and I've been back by some of them. It's always weird; it's never home. Seeing it hollowed out that way must be an extra punch in the gut.

Still haven't heard this. I thought Cosmovore was great, Providence not so much. I've had a shitty combination lately of less time to spend listening to new stuff and less enjoyment when I get to it, but if you think something is a bit too technical, then there's a chance I'll think it's just technical enough

Nothing they did has aged well IMO. I got into them along with all the other Gothenburg stuff, but somewhere along the way it started sounding like bubblegum. Even Jester Race and the EPs don't make the cut for me anymore. I can't say that completely makes sense, because I still like a bunch of other old melodeath, but such is life.
