Okay as I have banged on about in the "What's On Your Mind" section I have an interview on Friday this week and the journey is an 8 hour round trip by car so I am in need of some entertainment to occupy me. So as a bit of fun I am throwing it open to the forum to suggest some songs for me to formulate a playlist with to motivate me as I drive to my interview. Knock yourselves out........

Spent all afternoon drawing up my presentation for Fridays' interview - not done a presentation from scratch for a while and it is stressing me out to fuck! I am putting no text on the majority of slides and I am going to have to rely on my memory for reference notes as I imagine the competition will go into powerpoint overkill so I am trying to make mine memorable and stand out. Doing it naked wasn't an option apparently.

First I had heard about the accident and surgery - hope all goes well and you are back fighting fit soon. I passed my phone interview today and have to travel to London next Friday to have my final face to face interview.

Had a telephone interview today for the job I applied for. There's alot of travel involved (maybe overseas) which doesn't really bother me and the job spec seems more than manageable to me. Just waiting on the expenses question until I know I am through to the next round of the recruitment process. Managed to pitch my salary at £5k a year more than I am on now too so fingers crossed.

Despite cutting back a bit on the alcohol consumption I have enjoyed some St Peter's Cream Stout this weekend. Really smooth and tasty. Needed something cooling after the curry I had made for tea.
