don't know if I'm the only one who's noticed but lately there's been a few new members that join, post one or two things to promote their band/book/whatever and then leave without contributing anything else to the forum perhaps you guys could impose a block on creating new threads 'til these people reach Metaller status or something so we could at least have them contribute a little bit?

Re: Rethorn short demo of what the band can do? that seems to be the trend around here, clean vocals were a nice change of pace, seems lately every band that's joined has been death metal, really can't say much without hearing a song in full but perhaps I'll look into the band a little more

Re: Rate and Slate not to mention Gigantour, ProgPower and Denver Doomfest, there are probably others as well but those are the ones that immediatly spring to mind anyway rating - that I've finished work on some new lyrics slating - that I may well have ruined them but you can judge that for yourselves by looking at the your lyrics thread

Re: Top 10 Albums of Any Given Year so you got the best Blind Guardian album, a great Anathema album (one of two I own but the other one is Falling Deeper which sucks IMO) and possibly my favourite black metal album in Ulver's Bergtatt, the only other bands in their I recognize are Necromantia and Moonspell, but great list anyway

Re: Your favorite death metal bands? my younger brother hasn't seen it, sci-fi (i.e. The Matrix) action (i.e. James Bond) and horror (i.e. The Excorcists) don't interest him, he only likes rom-coms and now I feel like watching The Matrix again
