  1. It's the solid emissions that a billy goat leaves behind, usually stuck to his fleece, that most resembles black metal.
  2. Welcome to the forums. There is a lot of smelly, inbred black metallers on this forum so it's good to have someone with taste!
  3. Pizza thrash is a stupid fucking name, just like so many other names, but Lich King are great.
  4. I was drinking Master Mary Rum last night, kinda spicy, kinda fruity, just like me. Rumour has it that one of the swords on the black pirate flag represents Master Mary Read (the other being for Anne Bonny). No idea if that's true but it makes for something interesting to read.
  5. Wayne Kramer (co founder of MC5) died today/yesterday So did Carl Weathers but he wasn't metal he was more Rock(y)
  6. Slim Dusty - Lights On The Hill (this black metal kick I'm on really brings up the classics)
  7. I'm so into this blacked shit I didn't even get through the full album before turning it off and listening to Armored Saint.
  8. Sadistic Force - Midnight Assassin
  9. IG are coming to Australia this year. Weirdly enough they are coming down for one gig at a Blues Festival. Seems like an odd fit but then half the bands on the list aren't Blues anyway. They may announce other gigs once the 'only Australian show' publicity looses some traction but at this stage it's one gig only. And they are bringing Crabman Rob with them.
  10. Corpseater - Age Of Reckoning
  11. Master - Vindictive Miscreant

    Books?

I've never felt the need read the type of books many refer as classics. Books by Tolkien, Cornwell, Dickens etc. I've read only one of Martin's and although I thought was ok it didn't see me rushing to pick up any more. I have read all of Lovecraft's books, but only because they are in the public domain and free downloads.

    Books?

No idea what that book is but I love the Adam Spencer maths books, and the Dr Karl books.

    Books?

I used to like going through code, looking for Easter eggs, or even weirder trying to fault find. I still don't read much other than bios and novels these days. I haven't found too many bios that have interested me lately although I have just finished Billy Connelly's latest. I've also finished reading all of Brad Thor's spy/black ops books. I'm trying to get back in Jack Ketchum's books and I've recently started the novels which were the basis of the Rizzoli and Isles TV series.
  15. It's okay, a lot of geriatric people do get set in their ways.
  16. Not really. My Apple ban has been in place since the time of the first Mac's where Apple started their ridiculous propriety behaviour. The X86 platform offered variety in both parts and software, people could fix, update and chose their own computer gear. Even those people who just bought a box and stuck it on the desk had the option to rebuild things, something Apple users rarely were. It was a practise that continued all the way into their later products where they even invented stupid propriety plugs and sockets that could only be bought from official Apple suppliers. I'm not denying that Apple products work but I like products where I'm not tethered to one architecture and products that I can adapt to my wants and needs.
  17. It doesn't. Over the years I may have bought a few albums based only on the cover, but the cover doesn't change what I hear. I banned all Apple products in my house when the kids started asking for devices before they were 10. It's a ban that served us well, even out of home now the kids refuse to buy Apple stuff.
  18. Now there's some great metal bands. Finally this thread became worthwhile!
  19. Spelling is important, unless this is another one of those times you silly yanks drop letters because it's easier to spell with less letters.
  20. According to Blabbermouth in 2008; Earlier this year (starting around March),the Canadian branch of KFC (also known as Kentucky Fried Chicken),a chain of fast food restaurants based in Louisville, Kentucky, started airing a commercial for its "wicked crunch box meal" featuring a fictional black metal band called HELLVETICA. https://blabbermouth.net/news/kentucky-fried-black-metal
  21. Nocturnal Torment - They Come At Night
  22. if that's how everyone wants to brand it then I guess it is
  23. If that's how you want to brand it then I guess it is. Bloodlust - At The Devil's Left Hand
