ive made a Black Metal playlist on spotify. im mostly into Norwegian BM but its some of everything on here

Metal Church "The Dark" - this is almost as underwhelming as the first album. Nostalgia brought me back to this as I used to own this on vinyl 'back in the day' along with "A Blessing In Disguise", but sadly time has not been kind to this to my ears. First problem is the amount of filler on here for album that isn't all that long track number wise. The last 3 tracks could most certainly not be here and the pointless "Watch The Children Pray" is also weapons grade filler hiding as a 'big' number. 'Ton of Bricks' is a superb opener and 'Start The Fire' is a catchy and solid number but then I am just skipping tracks to get to the title track before putting something else on. A slight veer from my Thrash trend of late (Metal Church are not Thrash folks) and I am running straight back to my hi-top trainers and my "Metal Up Your Ass" tee!
