  1. Past hour
  2. Some things - bands, songs, even whole albums - are better live so I can understand what you are saying.
  3. Today
  4. I can't get into the prog-rock incarnation of Opeth on recordings, but I have to say the material from Heritage and whatever was after that - Pale Communion I guess? - is really strong live. And their enjoyment of playing it is obvious. I wonder how they sound with the new drummer now that Axe left.
  5. Yep. And a pretty good album with one of my favourite Opeth songs - Heir Apparent.
  6. Buffalo - Only Want You For Your Body
  7. Hey man, if your project is still relevant, you can check my work at metal-vocals.com!
  8. Hey man! Are you looking for an active band member to perform live, or a session vocalist? If the latter, you can check my site in my signature!
  9. Hi guys! If you or your friend is in need for extreme metal vocals, I'm your guy. Be it Death Metal, Black Metal or anything that needs powerful vocals or lyrics. I find myself to be quite affordable too. So far I've been part of over a hundred projects, and I'm not planning to stop! Visit my site at www.metal-vocals.com or contact me here for more information!
  10. Hello everybody! I'm Topias Jokipii from Finland, EMT by day, extreme metal vocalist by night. I have recently started to move away from freelance sites and trying to make it on my own as a session vocalist. Also a metal enthusiast in many ways, so excited to be here! Have a good one everybody! 🥰
  11. Looking for a drummer for New Jersey based Deathcore/ Djent band. Similar to the style of Currents, immortal disfigurement, shadow of intent.
  12. Johan De Farfalla. He had some great bass lines and did a lot of melodic stuff that sounded like extra guitar parts. Added a lot to the vibe of those first two albums.
  13. I quite like Watershed even if there were a lot of line up changes and presumably turmoil in the lead up to it. The opening track with the chick singing is very different and sounds great. I especially noticed on that one how bad the lyrics are, but musically it is solid. It's the last proper opeth album anyway. Still Life has Martin Mendez on bass who's been in the band ever since, so yeah he is the best of those that have been in the band. Far as I can tell there was only one other bass player, on the first two albums. And Mike played bass on MAYH.
