Their current lineup consist of guitarists Jimi Kuningas and Verner Janné, bassist Tuomas Turunen and lead vocalist Anssi Väinö. Imperative are set to bring back the pounding guitar riffs of the past along with lightning fast solos, thundering bass licks, pedal to the metal drumming and glass shattering vocals. Their original tone is a mixture of fast paced thrash metal laced with a more modern soundscape, creating a totally unique listening experience to the listener. Imperative has a humble aim to freshen up the music scene by adding a bit of long lost (even though much needed) 80’s in-your-face type of metal madness to the record charts and playlists around the globe. Hello! I'm currently looking for a talented singer (male or female) that wishes to join my band: "Volixe". I'm near the release of the demo/EP. I just need a cool person that has nice vocals to finish it. I'm from Chile so this would most likely be an online collaboration. Every song for the demo/EP is already composed by me and a couple of lyrics are already done too. The band has thrash, death, black, progressive metal and even classical music influences. It's somewhat experimental. Hey, guys. this is the first song I've ever written and fully recorded. Well, it might be more appropriate to call it a chaotic collection of riffs, but it's got some elements that show my style and reflect my influences. It only consists of two guitar parts, a bass part, and an acoustic guitar/piano intro, as that is all I play. Give it a listen if you have time.
