I've been into thrash and old school metal since I can remember, but death and black metal are kinda new to me . I can navigate death metal fine but black metal is complicated for me. What are some good bands to start with (and some information about the genre would help too)

Motörhead has inspired me a lot lyrically, musically, and has even helped me become a more confident give-less-of-a-shit-about-what-people-think kinda person, so for me it's Motörhead.

Has anyone else picked this album up. The second I heard it I thought it was amazing, I want to know what you guys think?
