I agree with you, I personally don't like metalcore to much although I do listen to Hatebreed. But I don't sit their and talk shit about it. I think if someone like s metalcore than that's ok. Why should I care what someone else likes and doesn't like? That doesn't make them any less of a metalhead.

To me Dead put his real life emotions into his music, just listen to Freezing Moon. He, in my opinion,was Mayhem. He took what he felt and put it into his lyrics and performances. Black Metal focuses on negativity and Dead made all of his lyrics truly negative and depressive in every way. Plus those vocals are amazing.
