Re: Soundwave and Soundwave Revolution Festivals Thats awesome, in Europe we tend to get all the festivals in summer so the rest of the year is just spent longing for them Would be so great to have festivals in march and september as well!

Re: Finnish folk metal! Finnish folk metal is definetly the best Ensiferum are probably my favourite atm, but Wintersun, Korpiklaani, Turisas and Finntroll are really good too, so hard to choose! But I was a bit disappointed with Finntroll live... I just expected them to be more troll like, but they were pretty calm. Still awesome tho

Re: Tuska Open Air Metal Festival I've been wanting to go to Tuska for a while, but never managed to get a crew together to go. We just end up going to the easier to get to festivals... The line up looks great tho, wish I was going this year!

Re: Good folk metal bands? Eluveite and Korpiklaani are really good, also Ensiferum and Lumsk (some of it, they can get a bit too folky I think).

Re: Who's going to W:O:A then? Wacken is absolutely awesome. Good tip if you are going from Sweden or Copenhagen is to go with http://www.festivalbussen.com, they still have tickets as well I think(the bus can be a lot of fun if you bring enough to drink). The town Wacken is really close to the festival area and they have some nice cheap rum/vodka/whatever, but they wont let you take it into the festival or camping if it is not in a plastic bottle. So it is a good idea to bring one unless you want to chug it all next to the entrance as our dear overlord of this forum did last year

Angela Gossow is amazing, but I really cant stand the new Nightwish singer (but that could be because I was never a big Nightwish fan in the first place) saw her live a few years ago and it felt like both the band and the audience were relieved when she left the stage to get changed!
