  1. Vektor sounds familiar. Will check out later, though I think I know what it is. Rebellion - Kiew
  2. Yeah, death, black and thrash metal were never my kind of thing. DM was just too "fast and brutal", most of black metal doesn't suit me, and I kinda grew a hate relationship for thrash because every 2nd metalhead in the Balkan area in general listens mainly to thrash. Most of local gigs are thrash and punk. Note: I do like some Metallica, few Testament songs (and here and there from other bands) but I like thrash and punk live because the beat does make you mosh, but generally, everyday, I prefer something less agressive. I listen to music 60% of my 24h period (if not on headphones then I sing it in my head...it's always around) and I can't imagine the aggressiveness of the thrash to pump my mind when I'm just chilling or doing every day, boring things (or cooking...I like to cook while listening to music xD). Tbh I actively started listening to metal in 2nd half of 2013 and I really got in with Sabaton, Amaranthe, HammerFall, Epica (and similar stuff), and as I expanded my metal knowledge I did try the rest of the sub-genres, but those three never suited me. I like Folk Metal the most (I liked bagpipes even as a kid so must be from there) with MELODIC death, heavy and power metal following up ..and a bit of other genres. (when I say melodeath, I mean bands like COB, some Dark Tranquility, Insomnium, Amon ofc and similar). Just had a need to write so much. Sorry if it was a bore HammerFall - Heeding The Call ...so natassja, did you check Valtari? What do you think?
  3. Apartment 26 Famous Finnish 6-piece who had a (sub-)genre change early in their career and whose current singer joined the band in 2004.
  4. Threw a bucket of red paint off of Mount Everest.
  5. 23rd - book fair in Belgrade. Locked my eyes on an encyclopedia on WW2 German vehicles (armoured vehicles, tanks & subs) two years ago and now I've finally saved some of my own money to buy it (fair has discounts ofc). Also planning to buy "The King Beyond The Gate" by David Gemmell, which is a sequel to "Legend". Really loved the book "Legend" (epic fantasy) and I'm hoping to buy all 11 books of the series in my life ...also should look for "Beowulf"..love that one as well Metal shop should have ordered hoodies by now...want to buy a Korpiklaani one when I'm done with the fair (or before it). Also planning to meet some friends on that day. Can't wait ^-^
  6. As I did practice British English because of my brief university studies, I think it wouldn't be that hard....still there's some difference in some words, names and phrases compared to 'Muricans x) So...1 in 6 Odds on you lifting a 30 kilograms of weight with both your hands, 10 times, without make a pause
  7. Death - Flesh And The Power It Holds Death - Spirit Crusher Don't listen to Death (I know a few songs), but today I kinda felt like going out of my routine
  8. Wintersun - Beyond The Dark Sun @natassja7 I like to discover less known/underground stuff. Try Valtari - a Welsh melodeath project (was 1 man project, now there are 2 of 'em). Love the song called "Bitterness". There are only 2 albums btw.
  9. Alkonost - Reka So natassja..did you check out that band Viikate?
  10. Arkona - Brate Slavyane the intro... :33
  11. It's the university isn't hard, but like my mom told me "Tenacious people finish universities, not smart ones"... and I'm not tenacious x) And there really is a difference between countries. Don't know where you live, but you'd have to live for some time in Serbia to understand how things work here. Luckily enough there are a lot of factories in/around my town, so lack of workplace won't be a problem...and I'm not afraid of labor. I have thought everything through, but it just doesn't work for me... (brother studying Law wasted 10 years on studies, the one with Sports wasted 8).
  12. spiritual state... Corvus Corax - Sverker
  13. Technically I still can (as I haven't officially signed the papers), but I don't want to. I'm looking at my brothers as "models". Both of them studied for too long - one has like 2 exams now in October to graduate Law (technically he has graduated, this is something extra, like a Master's degree) and the other is working but still has 4 exams to graduation (Sports) I don't have enough motivation to study, so why waste more money on studies, when I can earn them myself and spend them/save them. I can spend saved money in buying a machine (wood or metal cutting maybe), have a private business working from home. Not to mention that in Serbia it's even hard for people with a degree to get a job in their field.
