Hey all! Like the title says, just wondering who'd be interested in getting a free CD? Recorded and released my own EP, Between The Lies - Compulsive Depressive, and rather than send it to radio stations and wait forever to be rejected because I'm unsigned, I figure I'll send it to metalheads direct! I'm not sure how to prove my legitimacy or any of that? (If you guys have suggestions, or I can be verified by a moderator??) Chronicles is a french metal band from Bordeaux, formed in 2015 by Mathieu Larroudé.The line-up is Mathieu Larroudé (guitar), Thomas (guitar), the brothers Alexandre & Vicent Camontes (drum & bass) and Matt (vocals).Chronicles’ music is influenced by jent, thrash and death metal. Still, the band is not willing to sit back and write in only one particular genre. Mixing brutality and groove with destructured compositions, the music is both technical and efficient.A pre-production led to an artist deal for Mathieu and Vincent with Mayones Guitar & Bass.The Album «The Man On A Leash» is the first of a series and tells a science fiction story. It was recorded during summer 2015 at La Cahute studio (drum and bass). Guitars and vocals were recorded by the band and mixed by Matt. El Mobo, Conkrete Studio (Gorod, Loudblast,..) worked on the mastering and was finaly released in january 2016.Second part is to be recorded about spring 2016. Hello, I've been listening to death for a while now and I love them! All my favorite death songs have a certain type of riff in them, which I call "accelerating riffs." The ones I'm talkin about are the chorus riff in without judgement, the riff in spirit crusher where while he says "monster at heart!" and right before that, the riff in spirit crusher that lasts from 2:25ish to 2:55ish, and the riff from pull the plug that lasts from 0:25ish to 0:50ish. Is this constant in death metal? Is it in a different genre? Which genre uses it most? I haven't listened to much death metal other than a ton of deaths music. If anyone knows other songs with riffs like this please give me some suggestions. Please help! I need more!

Hello, everyone recently I've been listening to a lot of revocation, and is it just me, or is Dave Davidson a modern day chuck schuldiner? I know no one can replace chuck, but Dave Davidson is (from what I've heard) it seems like is on par with chucks guitar chops. Even in some revocation songs their vocals to me, sound pretty similar. He even, although it's not a bc rich stealth plays a similar guitar as chuck did, a Jackson warrior. Has anyone else made the connection? What do you guys think? Is Dave Davidson reminiscent of chuck to any of you? -
