  1. Leviathan 10th Sublevel Of Suicide still #1 on my all-time BM List
  2. DHG Kronet... still my fave, though that new one...
  3. Obtained Enslavement discography wish I could get UNSUBSCRIBED from this Thread. (Sure I tried the email Link.)
  4. All this week I've been pretty much alternating Leviathan Scar Sighted with DHG A Umbra Omega. I guess I prefer the Leviathan, but it's a kick to hear the goofs back in action. Yo ho!! The new Enslaved, alas, intrigues me not at all; a regression to progressive.
  5. Leviathan White Devil, Black Metal
  6. new Leviathan streaming from Profound Lore
  7. Vader Tibi et Igni My fave by them.
  8. Bethlehem SUIZID od: Hank Williams Jr. The Pressure Is On
  9. Mayhem Esoteric Warfare od: Ishahn Live Tokyo 2011 his support band, Leperous, is amazing
  10. Obtained Enslavement Witchcraft OD: Nachtmystium Silencing Machine
  11. The 'net is surely killing the Music Business, as well as the Film and Publishing Industries, yet Music( incl. Metal), Film and Publishing (of, e.g., Literature) shall , imo, survive. True, the Era of the Rock Star is likely to pass. Who do we think actually made those million$ anyway? The musicians? A few. The various agents, promoters, club owners and recording execs? Their number is legion. As for LIVE performance: imo, that is the future for music and drama. As for myself: I download much; what I like, I then buy at the shows. Seems ethical enough to me.
  12. ...and Oceans Cypher These mad Finns started out as Festerday, then became ...and Oceans, then Havoc Unit, now back to Festerday: lot of talent in this group by any name or style; I'm waiting hopefully for new material.
  13. Krieg Blue Miasma OD: Marduk Frontschwein
  14. Angelcorpse Of Lucifer And Lightning OD: WitTR Live at Roadburn
  15. Eagerly waiting for that new Leviathan myself. OT: Mayhem Ordo ad Chao
  16. I really liked Blodhemn and Riitiir. In between, they increasingly left me lukewarm; the only time I saw them live was in this Prog period. Glad when they returned to Metallic Form on Axioma...
  17. Double Feature last evening: Edge Of Tomorrow...not bad; Starship Troopers meets Groundhog Day The Young Ones...drought Sci-fi,more interesting as it goes along; good acting and characterizations, sparse plot
  18. Potentiam Orka i Myrkri '...you may be through with the past, but the past is not through with you.'
  19. Old C&W: Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings, Flat and Scruggs, Carter Family, Johnny Cash... Acid rock: Dead, Airplane, Quicksilver... Classical: Mozart, Bach, Wagner, Beethoven... New Wave: Joy Div., Simple Minds, New Order... Old Jazz and Swing: Coltrane, Miles Davis, Mingus, Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong... Country Blues: Robert Johnson, mostly ...and whatever strikes my fancy.
  20. That last Enslaved was, imo, their best in 20 years, so I'm up for them. Always ready for Leviathan; hope it's all new material this time. DHG? Usually takes them four or five years to pay off the recording studio so they can actually release the stuff. I guess Marduk Frontschwein is a 2015; it leaked so long ago I'm not sure. Swell stuff anyway.
  21. Retro, already. I still have some listening for last year to do, but, as of now: Mayhem Esoteric Warfare Vader Tibi et Igni Nachtmystium The World We Left Behind ...tight performance of good riffs; emotionally honest lyrics; much improved vox production; a real fucking pity, hunh?... Behemoth The Satanist Twilight Trident's Tomb
