  1. As many of you know. Im into black metal influenced thrash metal and wanted to share one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands: Aura Noir "black thrash attack:
  2. just heard that song off the album it was on yesterday! Nothing like some old school Kreator!
  3. Belphegor "stigma diabolicum"
  4. Hails fellow Texan! Good to see u in here!
  5. Ive heard alot of good things about Holy Moses. I definantly have to give them a listen.
  6. Ive been listening to alot of German Teutonic thrash lately and wanted to discuss which are your favorite bands,albums,etc... Im a big fan of Kreator as I find them more consistant that the rest of the bands. Destruction has changed into a more accessible thrash band. And sound less evil over the years. Sodom is one of my all time favorite bands! The lyrics by them are worth reading and getting into.
  7. For me it was Iron Maiden. But now, I find myself really digging Manowar! But to list some older bands that I do like: Dio, Bolt Thrower, Entombed, Immortal, Darkthrone,Grave, Morbid Angel, Slayer, Exodus.
  8. Metal shows are the best way to get merch! Thats where I get most of my patches and T-shirts!
  9. I personally think that black metal is based on rebelling against religion, and any forms of organized establishment. I also see it as a genre for those with misanthropic views on mankind.
  10. I just came went to 2 shows that just so happened to be in my neighborhood: Goatwhore/3 Inches Of Blood/Ramming Speed Saturday 5/4/13: I went to this show and it was awesome! Nicely packed but not too packed. Ramming Speed had so much energy live onstage! Some killer thrash riffs, and early grindcore type of vocals added to it!Had me in a violent headbanging mood! \,,/ 3 Inches Of blood was awesome aswell! Their set was really good! High energy, and Cam's vocals were superior! It was also Cam the lead singers birthday also that night!Lots of headbanging and moshing for their set! Almost everybody in the crowd was either headbanging, moshing, or singing along! Goatwhore is fantastic live! The solo's, and riffs were just jaw dropping! Their stage presence was pretty good aswell. And they play a good 90+ min set that featured a lot of songs off their last 3 albums! The next night was Cinco De Mayhem and it was at another venue just down the street from the previous one. I saw a descent local band play, but forgot the name of the band who was awesome live! Hypocrisy was supposed to headline but had to back out due to visas... Arsis put on one hell of a performance with some really good riffs and solos! They are one band not to miss live! I was not impressed by Starkill at all! They look like they were rejected from the either the emocore or glam scene and decided that since they cant sing. They can atleast have a go at death metal. And thats exactly how they sounded live aswell! Krisuin put on a killer show! My 2nd time seeing them. And I enjoyed every minute of their set! They played all of their popular songs, and the guitarist had some of the best solos Ive ever heard in the death metal genre! They played a 1 1/2 hour set packed with high energy death metal topped with great riffs and had the fans in a headbanging spree! \,,/ Sl85
  11. I dont think that is true. If the band can put on a good show. It shouldnt matter how many albums they have put out.
  12. The backside to my vest!
  13. Here is my latest finished Kutte!
  14. I had the chance to buy this cassette through a distro and am highly impressed! If your looking for morbid raw and LoFi sounding old school death metal. This tape is what you need! Their are 3 demo's smashed into one tape: "Pigs of Church" promo CD, "Rotten Penetration" demo tape, and "House of Death" demo tape!
  15. I have an idea! All those who are intested, and can record a playlist of music in mp3 and possibly announce a few things PM me! Im planning on starting a metal podcast!
  16. Brutal existence radio has some good shows on. So does Metal Messiah! They also have a friendly and dedicated online/chat community!
  17. Thats because you tuned in at the wrong time! Their are some ppl who are into grindcore (Their is no deathcore on DFM, and the station has been cutting back on allowing grindcore albums on their site). The station is unique because the stations music is created from listeners requests, so you are able to check out a bit of everyones taste in metal! Ive been introduced to alot of good bands and albums via Death.FM! And the site has the best online metal community I have ever witnessed! Its so fun to get on the chat and talk to fellow metalheads while browsing their forums, and adding my own requests into the station! They also are so unique that their is no live DJ! So their are metalheads from around the world requesting and chatting it up 24/7!
